use of free refill mugs at other hotels

I have been watching this thread with great distress. From a Law Enforcement Officers point of view I can say this. If the mugs are supposed to be for the leangth of 1 stay, then that is what it means 1 stay not your next 6 stays and not bring your own from home. Lets face it, people who are...

What happened to The Living Seas?

While doing the Dive Quest Tour this past January, I looked into the tunnel the ride went through. The cars are still in there and it did not look like they were doing any work on it. I think they just stopped using them.

Just wondering about living seas diving

The Aqua Seas Tour is $100.00 and the Dive Quest Tour is $140.00. To me this is money well spent considering everything is taken care of. All equipment provided (all set up and waiting for you, plus they take care of the clean up at the end). Showers, towels, soap, and shampoo are provided...

Just wondering about living seas diving

My wife and I did the Dive Quest tour January 2003. We had so much fun, we are signed up to do it again on November 28th. At one point of the dive, I was standing at the bottom of the tank and had a porkfish that would not leave me alone. He kept pecking at me as if to say, hey where's the...

    Reccomendations for a wet weekend?

My wife and I have been to WDW when they have had heavy rain all day. I think we have more fun on the wet days then on the dry days. We got to the MK one day when it was raining bad and there was hardly anyone in the park (during spring break). Rides where walk on, and outdoor rides were...

    Most Magical WDW Moment

My most magical moment was this past January when my wife and I went scuba diving in The Living Seas. Seeing the faces of guests (especially children) as we would cruise past the viewing windows was priceless. The children loved it when you would put your hands up against the windows, they in...

    Thanksgiving at WDW

My wife and I will be there at the same time, we have reservations at The Grand Floridian 5 nights. The Christmas Decorations should be up. The first MVMCP is being held on Sunday November 30th, we got our tickets for that in the mail a few weeks ago. As for Thanksgiving dinner, we are going...

    8 day trip

You could spend a month is WDW and not see everything. But I think you should be able to cover the parks pretty well in 8 days. Don't forget to take time out to enjoy things other than the parks. La Nuba in downtown disney is a good show. And check out the water parks, great for hot summer...

    November in WDW?

That time should not be to busy, but Thanksgiving and the weekend after can be. Katherine is right the nights can get chilly that time of year so bring some jackets. You can rent lockers at the parks and leave your jackets in them until you need them. About the rides being open or closed...

    Weather question and resort question

Hi Madison, Don't worry about your trip, it will be perfect. You have a nice resort and good dinner reservations. Just remember to take time out to smell the flowers as it where and enjoy just being there together. As far as the rain is concerned, my wife and I have been there during...

How easy is it to change resorts

I would think you could do it, however, there might be a fee involved not to mention the hassle. Best thing is to research the resorts you are thinking of staying in and make a firm decision. This forum has good tips. Also www.mouseplanet.com has good reviews, maps, and pictures of all of the...

    Random Acts of Magic

I guess you could call this a random act of magic! On a recent trip to WDW, my wife and I took part in Dive Quest at The Living Seas. While exploring the aquarium, I noticed a small girl in a Wheel Chair siting by one of the observation windows looking very glum and sad. I approached from...

    Flag Family

Have never done it. From what I have heard, just ask when you check in and if there is not another family scheduled, your it. They also let guests participate in the flag lowering in the afternoon so check on that if need be!
