New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I sent an email to disability services asking where CMs are usually located on Remy & Guardians to exit/reenter for restroom use since I'm not familiar with nor seen many in queue videos. The response was to speak with front line CMs. A bit disappointed as I just wanted to have some idea of...

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I emailed specifically for a general idea of where the first CM is in line for GotG & Remy because the walk-throughs I found didn't show any until boarding. The response was they couldn't tell be about exit/reenter. Seems even trying to at least know where to find a CM is secret right now.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

If someone leaves after the merge, they should have a way to return after it as well. Having to repeat the same wait would be ridiculous.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

For me, maybe DAS lite on MDE after going through same DAS interview? Only becomes available if an attraction is over 90 minutes, 99% chance I'll be leaving once for the restroom. Maybe allow 1 DAS style queue request/day, & must be used within 90 minutes of eligibility vs good all day, and...

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I doubt I will, main issue was needing to leave and return, which I hope the new option works well for me. Knowing my reactions when full blow attack, it seems prudent to have extra things and hopefully not need.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I've thought about keeping a card with me that says "having panic/anxiety attack, need to leave the line for a break ASAP". If they get bad enough just talking to random ppl is hard. Also have a MyID keeper for my MB so if BP get out of whack med can pull up info. Guess just trying to be...

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

We arrive July 4th and assume I'll be using the return to queue. I plan on emailing them about the top 6 attractions we want to do, and hope they can give me information on what the processes are. At least knowing what I'm getting into will ease my anxiety prior to going.

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

The recommendations to practice waiting in line, visual routine, ect was at least in place since 2019. It's cited in a lawsuit

More interesting is now there are 3 across all parks, so ppl will have to choose which 2 they want if they had planned to hop.

    MagicBand+ announced

The puck is slightly larger so they don't bend as well on smaller wrists. I wore my first one around the house for a day and had issues with it falling off. May be slightly thicker too maybe.
