Went Saturday and Sunday and both parks were quite crowded. Most crowded I've seen them in quite a while.

There was nothing there before (post-Maliboomer). It was just an empty space.

I've got the same issue, also on Monday. But I'm gathering that it should be fine as long as I'm there (I'm the primary reservation holder) - it's just that anybody not present when I check in won't be able to go in at all.

Does anybody know what exactly this means? What if somebody on the reservation doesn't make it that day? Is the reservation as a whole rendered invalid?

I wonder. If there are PhotoPass photographers in Galaxy's Edge, will they be using custom camera setups (or at least custom housings for their cameras)? The usual Nikon DSLRs might look a little incongruous on Batuu.

I was wondering more about if there might be a security gate to get from the rest of the park into Galaxy's Edge (or vice versa - checking for alcohol?) If not, though, what do you suppose the security gate near Critter Country would be for? Backstage?

The 4 most crowded days I've been to Disneyland in the last ten years were all in 2018. It partly depends on when exactly you go - we didn't go at all in July and it sounds like that month was unusually light.

I'm not sure even that is a fair comparison. Disneyland is not one cohesive theme - it's a melding of a variety of themes. Is there any particular reason that fairy tale fantasy fits but space fantasy doesn't?

Well, the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay on Haunted Mansion is almost more Christmassy than it is Halloweeny... But I've found that sometimes in the week after Halloween, some of the Halloween decorations are still up as they're putting up Christmas decorations.

Fantasy Faire is right next to the castle. Seems to me to make more sense as an extension of Fantasyland than as an extension of Main Street.
