    What did you do?

Yesterday I started my second month of Insanity with a workout that lasted 1 1/2 hours. I can already tell that the second month is going to be a lot harder, but I'm sure I will enjoy it anyways. Today I'm going to run 5 miles then do my Max Cardio Plyo workout. Hope everyone is doing well with...

    insanity work outs

Maybe its just me, but I think that Insanity does give you some strength work. It's not going be as much as if you lifted heavy weights, but since the movements incorporated require you to use more power to push/lift your body, it will still help your body with strength training.

    insanity work outs

I'm on week 5 of Insanity, which is the recovery week between the two months. Within the first month I have noticed more definition in my calves, chest, and a little in my arms. Since month 2 is extremely harder than the first, I have no doubt that I will continue to notice a change. I start...

    Runner Invention Thoughts

Thanks JillC LI! I really appreciate your concern and I had this thought as well. That's why I'm just explaining the mere concept of my idea. I still have secrets on the design and function of my idea.

    Runner Invention Thoughts

The energy bar bites or energy chews would be held in a container that screws onto the bottom of the water bottle. Then the energy gels would be kept in a container that is inside the bottle but keeps the gel from mixing with the water. Someone would be able to get access to the water and gel...

    Runner Invention Thoughts

I'm thinking about inventing a new type of water-bottle for endurance athletes and I wanted to see how other runners would react to this product if I were to put it on the market. I came up with this idea a couple days ago so it still has bugs to work out and will take some trial and error, but...

    What did you do?

I'm so sorry to hear that! I remember when we had to put my dalmatian down. I was about 13 at the time. She did live a long and happy life. Normally, dalmatians only live to be around 10-11 years old, but I guess she loved being around us too much. I just completed my first month of insanity...

Guests Injured By Falling Light On Expedition Everest

I can see all of your points. I never said that Universal didn't have any good rides. I wasn't sure if the rides I mentioned were still there or not. Again I only went there once and that was 17 years ago. Nevertheless, in my opinion nothing has been able to compete with Disney until a couple...

Guests Injured By Falling Light On Expedition Everest

Again I haven't been there since I was 3 or 4, but one of my family friends went there for a day this past spring and said that a lot of the older rides were either still part of the park, but were closed or looked as if time had caught up with them and were beyond repair. When I say older rides...

Guests Injured By Falling Light On Expedition Everest

Its true that Disney could be a better in terms of building more e-ticket rides and maintaining effects, but in my opinion Disney World is still a great place to enjoy oneself. Even though some say they think that Universal is going to become better than Disney, Disney is still a much better...

    What did you do?

Thanks everyone! Today I did a few weight lifting exercises. Afterwards I completed the Insanity Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs workout. This exercise routine is helping me to become a much better athlete with the bonus of getting ripped. Later Days!

    What did you do?

Ran in the Relay For Life 5k in my hometown this morning. I had 6 miles planned for today so I ran 3 on the treadmill before heading out to the race. My final time for the race was 19:30, which is a new PR for me and I'm pretty sure that I got 4th overall. Hope everyone is doing well with...

    What did you do?

Thanks Ariel! I guess it helps having a background of playing soccer for 16 years. Today I ran 4 miles around my neighborhood and then jumped right into the first day of Insanity.

    What did you do?

Congratulations Mad Stitch and Ariel 484! Yea we should have gotten together. Maybe we can get together for a run through the metroparks sometime. So for those who haven't figured it out yet, I ran the Cleveland Half-Marathon as well! I finished in 1:39:08, which I wasn't really going...

    What did you do?

How do you like insanity so far? I'm starting it on Monday for the first time to switch up my exercise routine.

    What did you do?

Thanks! I don't think I'll be going for a PR this time. I have another race in 1 1/2 weeks after Cleveland that I took 3rd overall last year so I'm looking to at least defend my title, if not move up. I hope you guys PRs as well. Hopefully I will be doing the first day of Insanity today, if...

Good luck to you as well! What race are you doing and what time are you shooting for?

    What did you do?

Ran 10 miles this morning in the metroparks. I ran at an easy 8:00/mile pace because I also had soccer practice and I'm not trying to injure myself before my next race in 2 weeks, The Cleveland Half-Marathon. I'm also about to add Insanity to my workout routine. I'll be running on cardio days...

Your Fave Pizza at Via Napoli??

I enjoyed the Ortolano that I have had the past 3 times. It has tomatoes, mozzarella, zucchini, peppers, and other vegetables.
