It has been my experience that walk ups are impossible. We have tried a few times at a few different places in the World Showcase and were turned away each time. If you want to try any of the wonderful sit downs in the World Showcase, I would get reservations.
I have heard Via Napoli is...
We just had a gourmet build your own burger bar open here where I live.

A group of my friends went there yesterday and it was amazing. I know my family would be all for something like this opening in DTD.
This makes me very excited, when we first picked a date for our cruise we weren't even thinking about it being during the holidays. When we did realize it made us that much more excited!
Is it November yet?
This was one of my family's all time favorite Disney experiences. My daughter was 4 when we went. The food wasn't the greatest, but as someone else mentioned the character interaction the kids get is unbeatable.
I received on this week via email that seems to be for Florida Residents. I have been logging on and checking for new Florida Resident rates on the website lately, but not booking anything. Maybe that is why I received one.
Our experience with MVMCP was the exact same as the OP. We went two years ago and vowed to never do it again. We couldn't even get into a single one of the shows b/c they would fill up by the time we made our way through the INSANE crowd.
I live in Northwest Florida, it has been cold here for a few days now & I'm already over it. I am not happy about the temps for Monday & Tuesday next week when I will be there. I hate cold weather though, 65 is about as cold as I ever want it to be.
The World Showcase is my favorite thing in any of the parks, for all the reasons already mentioned. We also love Soarin, Living with the Land, and our DD4 can't get enough of the Nemo ride with the aquarium afterwards.
