  • Yeah, we have to go every 3 mos. for Tristan's ADD meds, too, so you never know!

I'm glad I saved up my allowance points cause when I saw the points value for cake and ice cream I was SHOCKED! 18 points for the two of them!! Oh well, it was a good day and I didn't go over my points!

Lee was very surprised at how little food he got for dinner! After I actually measured out what he was getting. Looks like we'll be getting some fruit from Costco! He did pretty well, but he just couldn't get over how many points added up in a sandwich, LOL. To be completely honest, I'm not sure how long he'll stick with it, but I'll keep encouraging him since it will be easier if we are both doing the points.
I thought your Dr. sounded familiar - East Cobb is where I take the kids! They've been going there since we moved to Kennesaw, LOL. Maybe you've seen me there.....

We did have a good dinner. I went against my better judgement and ordered the ribeye. It was bigger but a little cheaper than the filet mignon. Should've gotten my usual. It was good but thin and there was a lot of fat. I got a 10 oz. steak but only ate about 6, which is good for WW but seems like a waste of money. Oh well, next time, right? I also ate half my salad and an "unloaded" small baked potato w/ the butter on the side. I think I did really well.

So Lee said he'd going to try to do the points w/ me! He doesn't want to go to the meetings and since I have no idea how they calculate points we just gave him 40. We'll see how he does. If he wants to continue I think I'll buy the pkg with the two books in it.
Your dr's name sounds familiar what pediatrician do you take her to?

I'll be using my allowance points today, for sure, since we are eating out. It's the 1st time since I joined WW. I'm trying not to eat out a lot anyway because it gets so expensive. I don't think there is such a thing as "cheap" anymore!

Ok, I'm going to send you an email with our schedule. Remember - I'm very into my scheduling!
Nothin' wrong with some "puppy uppers" or "doggie downers"!! LMAO...whatever gets her thru her day, right??

I wondered because it almost seemed like you HAD to use your allowance points. I get it though if you need them for going out to dinner or you want to splurge a little. I know I'll be using them I just wasn't sure if we had to or not.

It will be easier for me to send you an email with our whole schedule rather than me trying to copy it here.

I hope everything goes smoothly with Lindsey. How is she doing, is she mad or being grumpy? You are definitely doing the right thing, even if she doesn't realize it right now. Stay the course...... (hey, isn't that from Star Trek?!?)
Shiloh didn't do any real damage did she? I hope not and that she only created a mess. As if that's a good thing, right? LOL

Yeah our reservations for Fri. are lunch at Via Napoli @ 2 and 7:30 for Rose & Crown. My dad and his gf will be with us for lunch and I'm not sure for dinner because Fri. is the day they depart for home. I'll get my schedule and send the whole thing to you and maybe we can see if anything will work out!

I'm doing well on the tracking! I did, however, with my horrible, horrible math skills mess up my point ON THE FIRST DAY but corrected them. I ended up using more of my allowance points than I originally thought - lmao!! But I'm doing ok. Writing everything down and not really wanting to use the allowance points. Do we HAVE to use the allowance points?
How did your dog do? It stormed much longer than I expected it to. Of course I was grocery shopping when the storm began! LOL, that's my usual luck. I hate the lightening that strikes to the ground and when I got home I was scared to go into the house!! LMAO...I'm a big baby when it comes to that type of lightening.

I did get fruit and veggies at the store. Now I just need to really commit to eating it. Now, I'm fine the real test will be in a few weeks. I think the difference with this plan is there are NO exclusions and that makes it so much easier. I had cookies last night but only 4 which I wrote down and made sure they were within my points. Well, I did use 2 allowance points so I could have a cup of milk with them!
I'm going to the store today to get a lot of fruits and a few veggies. I do like raw carrots but I'd still rather have fruit. I'm going to get fresh and canned in it's own juice. Sometimes the fruit goes bad before we eat it. A watermelon is definitely on my list.

I checked our schedule and the first day Lee is taking one of the kids golfing is Sun. If you join us I wonder if it would be a problem to just show up and ask for a table for 3 instead of 2? I'll try to change the reservation if you think you can join us.

Then we are doing World Showcase on Fri. (They have the EMH that night.) I'm trying to make sure we can leisurely do stuff instead of rush, rush, rush. We won't get to Epcot until lunchtime since we have a reservation for Via Napoli's and we are spending the rest of the day there. (dinner is at Rose & Crown)
I'll have to recheck my schedule to see the 1st day they are going golfing. The day Lee goes on his own we are going to Typhoon Lagoon. I think that's on Tues.

Sometimes I find it hard to believe I'm actually going to lose weight by eating what I normally eat (albeit less of it). But I know it does because you've lost 15 lbs!
Oh wow! Thanks for all the closures for refurbishments! It looks like we won't have to worry about no golf courses. I would think that even if the one that's included with the WP Option & More they would make another course available.

It was great meeting you last night!! I so enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to seeing you each week at the WW meetings. Thank you, too, for inspiring me to join once again. I start tracking this morning! I even sent my aunt a text telling her she might be interested in trying WW, too.

Lee is taking the kids seperately and then golfing on his own but you are more than welcome to join us on those days! Both days Lee takes one of the kids we were going to go to Downtown Disney. I know the 1st day we have reservations for Planet Hollywood (despite the lukewarm reviews). The 2nd day I know is on the 24th and we are eating at Beaches & Cream.
I'm ready for today. Right now I'm so hungry we are going to have dinner before I go though. Hmmm, bad idea?? LOL....

We went to the pool today so the heat wasn't bad for us. We might go tomorrow, too, depends on if the kids want to go or not.

Well, Lee and the kids are supposed to golf in Sept! I hope the course that is included with the Water Park Option and more is open. Don't know what happens if it is, uh-oh!

I hope there aren't many more rides/attratctions added to the refurbishment list in Sept! At least I'll know ahead of time and not be sadly surprised when we go, LOL.
I was just telling Lee I need to check and see if they have released what refurbishments are going on while we're there. Right now I've already seen "It's Tough To Be A Bug" and I was disappointed because I love that show but I'll take that over MAJOR ones like Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest or Rock-n-Roller coaster (my top 3 rides of all time!!). I'll have to check out the new hours, too.

Yeah, I think we've waited at least 30 for dinner at Outback. They have a good salad. I usually the the filet cause it's just the right size.
Tomorrow! I'm psyched about meeting you and a little nervous about starting WW but I knew I wouldn't even bring it up with you till I was ready.

I'm going to tell my dad's gf about "Pick A Pearl". I think she'll at least get some for her granddaughters. It just sounds soooo cool. I can't decide tho (guess price will be a factor) if I want a necklace or earring or both!! Cannot wait to do this, I tell ya.

I think we've been to Roadhouse although it has been a long time. We usually hit Longhornes or Outback. It think Lee is partial to Outback where I believe he'll pick for Father's Day.
I don't think we are going to do the MNSSHP party this time. I think we'll wait.

I saw a post that I want to try - have you heard of "pick a pearl" in Japan's shop? I never have but now I have to do it! You pick a clam, get the pearl and can have it set or not. The price depends on if/how you want it set. I can't wait to do this! I looooove pearls. Well, I don't discriminate - I love all jewelry!

We are going out tonite to celebrate the kids good report cards. They get to pick. Tristan already said he want to go to Capo's but he's had fettucini alfredo twice in the last two weeks. If that's where they really want to go, we will but I'm hoping for something else. What? Don't know! LOL.....
Guess what?!? I just paid off our trip!!! I'm so relieved and happy! Now, no more worries about the money we can just save what we can and look forward to the trip. Yay!!

I think I need the accountability, too. I don't know if I told you but I joined a couple of years ago with a friend. She went to 1 meeting and that's it. I went to 1 more alone and then never went back. I'm sure it's not hard to figure out I never lost any weight. What's funny is now I'm thinking - man, I just bought so many clothes but I think shirts won't be a big deal and I have a few bottoms I can wear from before I gained more weight. I'm totally getting ahead of myself already thinking about needing more clothes (albeit smaller ones) for our vacation, lol.

I checked our calender and today is 98 days! WOOHOO!
Ok, I'm gonna do it! Next Tue. I'll go to my 1st meeting - WW and you, LOL! Not sure yet how I'll pay but I will be there. My aunt (who like me has struggled with her weight her whole life) and I were talking about how it's easier to do things like this WITH someone. I hope I can have some success finally.

Wow, we are finally at 100 days. I know it's going to be here before we know it. I'm a bit worried about the high school but Tristan's just going to have to do whatever they need him to do. Elementary I'm not so worried about. Tristan was in 5th during one of our trips and it wasn't bad.

But having said that I am getting so excited at the trip gets closer and closer each day.
We didn't have a set date to come home but I think we'll head home tomorrow. You know, the "don't want to wear out our welcome" feeling.

I'm excited for you - Disney in 2 forms 2 years in a row!! LOL, someday I'll get on a Disney cruise but when, I don't know, I still just want to go to the parks.

Wow, that's awesome you're still going to WW! I'm thinking of starting myself. I just need to get into the "mindset", if you know what I mean. Would you mind if I went with you?

I'm going thru withdrawal not seeing my daily countdown to our vacation!! I know we're getting closer to 100 days by now - Yay!

Oh I almost forgot - I won two bids on ebay for Disney Hawaiin shirts for the kids! Total for both including shipping is about $30. Not bad I thought. Now all the guys have hawaiin shirts for our stay at the Poly! I'm so corny, lmao......
Sorry I haven't replied sooner. The kids and I are in AL on vacation. I didn't get a chance before we left to get on the computer like I wanted. As usual we were running around like crazy getting ready to leave for our trip. We left later than I planned or wanted but it worked out okay. We just got back last night from my aunt's trailer at the lake. I love it there, sooo relaxing. (I'm on my aunt's lap top at her house right now.)

Wow, that sounds like an awesome trip for Lindsey!!! I wish someone would plan a trip like that for MY birthday, LOL. That sounds like a blast, I hope everything works out for you. When do you need to book it?

I have been doing a lot better lately healthwise, thankfully. I do have a headache but I'm gonna take something when I get off the computer..

Are you still going to WW?
I'm with you - not diggin' the hot, hot weather that's hit already. I do dread the long, hot summer ahead. ______.

You should try Crocs. I bought a pair for our 2nd trip to WDW. I was always a socks and sneaker girl for our other trips but switched after my 1st experience wearing them - no sore feet, shins, knees or back at the end of the day! Plus they're cooler. I know you're not a big fan of the mall but the Crocs store carries a lot of styles, although not an many online. They even have sneakers that look like Converse. I just can't begin to tell you how comfy they are. Now I did get some blisters on my baby toes on our 3rd trip when I had ballet style Crocs but band-aids took care of that. And I got blisters when I wore my sneakers anyway. Another good thing is you don't have to worry about them getting wet.
