Well we know we want to do a character meal which will probably be Chef Mickeys, Mexico and maybe Ohana. It's hard for us to do ADRs because we're always on the go and want to be up and doing things.
Maybe we'll add a lunch at the Plaza or something like that.

Any thoughts on the Garden Grill?

Well making a career change is a big leap, but if you figure everything out the best you can and have confidence that you want the change, it can be a really great and beneficial experience for you. plus, there's nothing better than having a career and job you love and are passionate about.
Like you said, look over all of the info and the decision will come to you!

Hey that's great! Mostly everyone does Financial Aid so if you call or visit the school, they'll have no problem explaining it to you! Ohh I hope it works out...I'm sure it will.

The only other ADRs we have planned are possibly for Ohana and Mexico. Have you done Ohana?

Hah well my mother does her Disney trips a little differently from other people.
She's not doing anything special for the holiday like MVMCP or the Processional.
They got o the parks for a little bit, so some light rides, and basically focus on their table service dining...they LOVE it!
So that's basically what her trip will be like, but if she likes doing that I say go for it.

We're thinking of doing Chef Mickey's for dinner one night...what do you think???

Ahh I'm so busy...I have school, my internship, homework, and work! So crazy, but it's going well.

So my mother is planning to "re-do" her trip that was cut short in August.
They're going the week after Christmas (YIKES!) but they're prepared for the crowds.
They're staying at Coronado though...no Beach Club for her this time.

Our 90 days is coming up! So excited to make our ADRs!

Ehh don't worry yourself with that. If they have a bad time, it WILL NOT your fault at all! Just go for it if you really want to do it...you'll be great at it.

I'm a social work major at Southern CT State University. Too bad they don't offer a degree in Disney

Hey Carey - YES our ADRs are coming up! 10/13 is the magic day so a little more than a month away. Everything is good...getting ready to go back to school for my final undergrad year!

Don't worry...I'm sure some kind of deal will come up for you guys! Just wait and watch for one.

I just read a thread saying that Liberty Tree Tavern will probably be open for character meals at MK while CP is closed so we'll probably go with that!

We're going light on the ADRs this trip... San Angel Inn for lunch, 'Ohana for dinner, some sort of character meal which will probably end up being Liberty Tree or Chef Mickeys.
We also need to pick a restaurant at DHS for the Fantasmic package other than Hollywood and Vine...so that leaves either brown Derby or Mama Melrose.
Any thoughts on those two?

Aw thank you...you're so sweet. It was kind of an 'only a matter of time' situation, so thankfully we were as prepared as we could be.

Our 90 day mark is 10/13 and the 180 days does not start until 10/20 something so we miss it of course :lol:
I actually like the 90 days believe it or not because at that point, you have the park hours and EMHs and can plan ADRs better IMO so I'm kind of glad we miss it by a few days!

Plus it appears now that Crystal Palace will be closed for refurb in Jan/Feb so we might not be able to eat there depending on when they start! We were going to do an early morning character breakfast there which I was so looking forward to!

Any suggestions for other good character breakfasts if we can't go to CP?

Ooooh boy...we had a death in our family so she had to come home after only being there for 3 days.
She's super disappointed but she's looking to go back for a long weekend in November maybe.

My planning is going well.
Just waiting for our 90 days in October to really get things rolling!
Ryan and I weren't going to do Fantasmic this time around but now I'm rethinking that (I love the music!) and we would probably get the dinner package, not wait in line.

Oh yes!!!!! We got our 2010 rate and AAA rate today and it went down significantly! We're so excited!!!

I hope they do the 3/4 deal again. That brought a lot of guests in...Disney would be wise to do that again!

Aw, working at the Disney hotel there would be an awesome idea!! What is the hotel like there? Are there Disney restaurants/characters? I keep trying to come up with a way to work for Disney from Pittsburgh, but no such luck. We will probably be staying in Shipyard when we're there. My parents might be getting a place for a few months for them (they're retired), and I would come visit for a week. I'll let you know!

I love the Travel Channel specials! I have some on my iPod and like to watch them from time to time.

That's the word - frustrated! Trust me, we have been too. It's very difficult to plan for your trip properly and fully when you don't have the true rate.
We were getting so stressed out over the cost then had to take a step back and realize that the rate we have now will go down significantly.
Once we have the rate, we will be able to plan better.

My mom's trip is all set...she leaves in 2 weeks. So jealous!!!

We're anxiously awaiting the 2010 rate release and AAA rates which hopefully we will have at the start of August! Can't wait!
We were thinking we couldn't stay at the Poly because of the cost...looks like we can now, and definitely when the rate comes down. We were thinking of switching to the Contemporary but they're all booked up for a conference and maybe will release rooms at a later date. Oy..it's been a mess!

Yeah, it was all so stupid it made me feel like I was 12 again. I'll reactivate my account when all the drama dies down. I stayed at my parents for the 4th for a big party - really fun day! Hope yours was great too! I used to spend ALL my 4th of July's at Shelter Cove, I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!!
