Same. I always look forward to the I-95 drive, but only once we get south of Richmond.

With me it was just south of Fredericksburg. After that it was clear sailing. It didn't take long to catch on to the parking lot that is I-95 just above Washington, so I started to loop around through PA. Maryland, W. Virginia and cut back across to Fredericksburg. It was longer in mileage but was less time and a lot less stressful.

We got our flu shots first week of October.

Haven't been on much, where did you stay at WDW this time?

I always get two because I had an early case one time, so I try to get mine August/September and then a second one in late January/February. Which is bad because those are bad breathing months for me.

No work for me today, school is closed because of extreme cold & wind chill. At first it was a two hour delay but now fully closed. Of course hubs still had to go to work but his car wouldn't start, but after an hour of trying to push the car out of the driveway (not so successful) so we could maybe get my car out of the garage and having a friend come to try to jump the car it got started. Hubs is going to get the battery replaced today and take my car out and about today. But now I get to enjoy an unexpected day off!!!!

You weren’t getting President’s Day off?

Nope. We never have President's Day off or MLK Day either. Our semester usually ends a week after MLK Day so the kids have that day off and we have inservice. And in February we usually have Parent-Teacher conferences the last week of the month so sometimes we have a day off at the end of that week. Normally we just go from Christmas/December break until Spring Break (which is every other year ) or Easter.

Yes. There’s over 6 inches of carp out there, and it’s supposed to be well below freezing for the rest of the day. I brought some work home on Friday that I could sketch on just in case, but, I haven’t gotten the phone call from the partner that I was expecting, so I’m just hangin’ out right now.
