It depends on two things:Please keep in mind that corporate Disney almost certainly wants these experienced Cast Members back, eventually.
It's more than just bad PR; it's bringing back a workforce that knows how to do the job.
I think I know who that poster is. Almost verbatim a PM I got about a month ago from him saying what a dope I was if I didn’t believe it. In worse language and no class. He no longer posts in this thread, so I think he’s back. Thanks for the politics.
SHHHH!!! don’t blow the Op!!I think I know who that poster is. Almost verbatim a PM I got about a month ago from him saying what a dope I was if I didn’t believe it. In worse language and no class. He no longer posts in this thread, so I think he’s back.
That's what the College Program is for.It depends on two things:
1. Who’s cheaper?
2. What does “knowing how to do the job” entail?
And that’s what imma sayin’That's what the College Program is for.![]()
And that’s what imma sayin’
...since you brought it up...the longer the cancellation of college program goes - the worse it is for CMs hoping to be recalled. It’s a paradox that is unfortunately true.
I worked in the “sundial on Buena vista drive” for a spell in that era. And I know a lot about the NYC area and regulatory agencies. Which also involved post WTC type stuff.
Other than that...I know nothing. I swear.
Didn't think so.
Considering the lack of college and international workers, I don’t how many “domestic” workers will be ultimately affected. Please keep in mind that corporate Disney almost certainly wants these experienced Cast Members back, eventually.

There are currently. A number of them are furloughed and barely surviving on unemployment.Considering the lack of college and international workers, I don’t how many “domestic” workers will be ultimately affected.
Awww...now I need to find a new ball to play withThe ignore function works well... I just turned it on for Sirwaltersnotty
The parks were also great. It was nice to see people out at the parks and DS enjoying life. Things are starting to get back to normal here too. We tried to eat out Friday night. We gave up after four restaurants all had a one-hour wait. Granted we're still at 50% capacity, but it was good to see. Our numbers are falling like a rock without any draconian lockdowns.I agree. My shifts at the parks are pretty depressing sometimes because of how slow it is. Yesterday it felt normal for once.
you keep saying for the past month or longer but in reality the cases, hospitalizations etc. all the numbers are dropping fast. That's not good at all. From reports I have heard mask wearing and social distancing is low. Most just don't care. Its concerning it has to be this way. Like I have said multiple times people wanted things open but many can't be bothered to social distance and wear a mask. IT REALLY ISN'T THAT HARD
Yes they are dropping, still doesn't mean we should stop social distancing and wearing masks.you keep saying for the past month or longer but in reality the cases, hospitalizations etc. all the numbers are dropping fast.
Yep...if you say anything long enough, eh?you keep saying for the past month or longer but in reality the cases, hospitalizations etc. all the numbers are dropping fast.
Not at all. That is a recipe for “manifest stupidity”Yes they are dropping, still doesn't mean we should stop social distancing and wearing masks.
Well not exactly what you have been saying with your constant warnings of impending doom and disaster, once with the parks opening, then sports, schools etc and then the numbers still keep dropping, the mask mandate probably will be lifted soon in the county and so on.Yes they are dropping, still doesn't mean we should stop social distancing and wearing masks.
That would be dumb.Well not exactly what you have been saying with your constant warnings of impending doom and disaster, once with the parks opening, then sports, schools etc and then the numbers still keep dropping, the mask mandate probably will be lifted soon in the county and so on.
Epcot even exceeded that twice. Was quite a surprise.
