I just spent a boat load of money on new curriculum because of a sale. I always forget how expensive curriculum is until I buy it. I wish I would just buy a little bit at a time during the year for the next but I never know what I want to do until about a couple of weeks before school starts. Bonus of homeschool is I don't have to go crazy with clothes. Oldest is starting college next Monday but she hasn't bugged me about needing anything new.

The elusive Mickey ice cream with 'a line for Mickey and Minnie ****show'. Sorry, maybe it's better in person but it looks horrible.

Went to Universal and Sea World once in my life so maybe I should think about going there more. Though about Universal.....hate ET, hate Dr. Seuss. Harry Potter though

@93boomer , while ajrwdwgirl and hubby are at AK today, they may have lunch at either the Nomad Lounge or Flame Tree. For dinner, they're heading to Disney Springs to Homecoming. (Photos forthcoming, tbd.)

We went to Hollywood today. We did get the margarita inside but saw Choza was open and we said we should try it sometime. Is there one you like there?

It actually is pretty busy here at the studios busier than we thought otherwise it is good. There are a few people that don’t know how to wear a mask and we may have shouted a few corrections at them, it’s the middle school teacher in me coming out.

Yes I get the fiesta margarita. It is all three flavors-mango, lime and strawberry!
I have been reading that HS has been busier than the other parks so I am not surprised.
I just totally understand that! I will probably have that happening when we go down or lots of eye-rolling on my part.

My adult children were fortunate to have a kind and loving Dad growing up. In their youth he was always there for them. That is how we choose to Remember him as he passed today.

Never ignore the need for mental health care in our country. Please don’t forget that Covid accuracy with rapid testing is 50-74 accurate. Guard your loved ones. My kids and I remain guarded to the outside world.

The Dad as he will be remembered well, in his HAPPY PLACE.

I like refried beans, but whenever I see them my first thoughts flash back to when my kids were babies and I had many opportunities to change diapers.

I'm crazy lonely this week... hubby went down south to his sisters for the week, and my work friend is on PTO this week. Even one of the cats is showing depression.

We enjoyed Universal. It is different than Disney in a good way.
