I'd like to formally replace the following two beacons previously assigned to me:
- it's a small world should move to EPCOT
- Toy Story Land should have integrated a Speedway style attraction in and around Slinky Dog Dash
- Liberty Square up to Splash Mountain should be re-themed to New Orleans Square

I much preferred moving Small World to Epcot, because that opened up a huge spot for an appropriate Pinocchio E-Ticket.

Nah, Frozen, Tangled and Beauty and the Beast are going there in my head.

Frozen is in Epcot. I’m vetoing Tangled because it is the most boring snooze of a movie Disney’s ever made. And BatB thematically is land locked a ways away from the Small World. Unless they split the building into two rides (Pinocchio and BatB), with the Entrance for the BatB ride where the Village Haus washrooms currently are.
I guess you could retheme Village Haus to Red Rose, but three BatB restaurants is pretty excessive.

Aladdin doesn’t fit FL IMO, but as far as Disney Movie’s go, it’s the most deserving of a dark ride, and I’m shocked it hasn’t happened.

Yeah, I realize it doesn’t fit maybe that specific spot but it does belong SOMEWHERE in WDW. It’s my favorite classic Disney film.

You could make a small case for Morocco in Epcot. It’s better then what is there now...nothing.

“Splash Mountain features important characters from Black American Folklore. After much deliberation, we’ve realized it would be a disservice to completely remove this tribute to important heritage. As the world situation improves, we will continue to develop more stories with diverse backgrounds into our films and theme parks. We will also look for a more appropriate way to bring Tiana and her friends to Walt Disney World. The Princess and the Frog makeover of Splash Mountain will still proceed in Disneyland when the time is right.”

Oh, I'm getting rid of VillageHaus is well to solve the Beauty and the Beast problem. I'm perfectly content with Tangled being the Snuggly Duckling Restaurant with no attraction. I'm with you that Tangled was "meh" but the Snuggly Duckling was the best part of that movie.

Maybe it is the best part of the movie. I’m not entirely sure. I fell asleep both times I watched it.

I didn't like Tangled either, but I actually do think it could make an excellent ride. Just because a movie is bad doesn't mean a ride based on it is going to also be bad. And likewise not all good movies sound like good ride concepts.
For example, I absolutely adore Ratatouille. But I never thought it would lend itself well to a ride format. It has an incredible story and characters, but the environments aren't very visually interesting. It's predominantly quite bland industrial kitchens and other ordinary looking buildings (only with some brief flashes of more classical Parisian architecture). Ratatouille is a movie I love watching, but had no interest whatsoever in seeing adapted into a theme park environment. And as it turns out, the ride confirmed my assumptions. There are plenty of Disney movies that I really love but don't think have much potential as rides.
On the opposite side of the coin, I dislike Tangled and don't like revisiting its story. But visually I think it lends itself VERY well to a theme park ride. It has lovely environments. If given to talented imagineers with a good budget, it could be an incredible ride. They're currently building a Tangled ride at Tokyo Disneysea as part of the Fantasy Springs expansion. It's a boat ride with a relatively smallish show building (38,900 reportedly, similar to Epcot's Mexico ride, but I dunno how many levels it has or if there are any drops). So it doesn't seem like a full-on E ticket. Even still, the Asian parks often get assigned larger budgets and far more talented imagineers than the other parks, so hopefully it'll be a fun little ride regardless. We'll see.
Avatar turned out to be a similar situation to how I feel about Tangled. I don't like the movie at all but the visuals were gorgeous and lent themselves well to a theme park experience if well executed. And thankfully the land ended up being gorgeous as well. I have some issues with the rides, but that's largely because I don't care for simulators and the over saturation of video screens in modern rides. And consider the boat ride too short and lacking in animatronics. Not really the IP's fault though, there's still a ton to love about the land as a whole.

These are fan made and are not legitimate. Also Tangled does not have a shred of a tie to Frontierland.
Also why is there a river in the middle of Rapunzel’s tower?

I’m still salty over losing SWSA.
I still think my Tom Sawyer Island -> Ile D’Orleans plan would be a great addition to Magic Kingdom.
Brand new land, plenty of space to build a Louisiana Bayou walk-thru, a PATF ride, Tiana’s Palace restaurant, and plenty of street food stalls/counter service.

Maybe it’s time to dust off the plans for Villain Mt. and put it in Germany at Epcot, and just say it’s close enough because Grimm Fairy Tales.Or a Villains dark ride.
