As has been stated elsewhere, it is increasingly likely that they change Critter Country out west and leave Frontierland as-is in WDW.So is there any other info regarding Splash?

I missed that. Then again I've been occupied by a million things todayAs has been stated elsewhere, it is increasingly likely that they change Critter Country out west and leave Frontierland as-is in WDW.
It was posted in other threads. Initially by WDW Pro in his Red Button Option thread that they were considering walking back the project at least for WDW. Then pheneix posted a thread with comments backing up Pro's claims it will likely be canceled at WDW.I missed that. Then again I've been occupied by a million things today
Ah. So what % chance do we have of keeping FloridasIt was posted in other threads. Here's hoping. Still would suck if Disneyland's gets rethemed and all those animatronics that got their start in America Sings got trashed. Still hoping that maybe some could be saved and shipped to Florida so they can be installed in Magic Kingdom's Splash Mountain, but I highly doubt they'd do that.It looks more-and-more likely by the day that Florida will keep its Laughin’ Place. And that’s your Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Tip for Today.
Bob had an idea that perhaps animatronic chickens could drive buses. Here's hoping. How about the goose that's piloting the Zip-a-Dee Lady? If he can drive a riverboat, surely he can drive a bus.Bob had an idea that perhaps animatronic chickens could drive buses.
Not sure. Pheneix said he doesn't think the PATF overlay at WDW will ever happen. That sounds considerably higher than 50% chance it'll be canned to me. Still apparently a "maybe" for Disneyland, but he also mentioned the company is really hurting for cash.Ah. So what % chance do we have of keeping Floridas
That said, a number of officially announced projects aren't going to happen so this could simply be tossed into that pile. I think it would be tough to to at least change one of the rides though without risking backlash about ignoring Tiana.
The law says it can't be advertising.Does it have to be a ride, or just an attraction? If it's the latter, the Star Wars Launch Bay is right there... or do they just consider something Star Wars-related "sacred" or whatever?
The "sinkhole" is actually in the Imagineering office...You think? I don’t hear people turn away from Mission: Space like, “that ride was over a sinkhole so it had to be replaced.”

There's no state law prohibiting DHS to having less than a certain number of attractions. They just seem to like to replace instead of add for the most part.
I knew that was a joke. I was wondering if the other poster didn’t lol.
Nope, I'm just ****ing scared of sinkholes. That, the ocean and seeing old people kissing.

Who would've thunk that Bob Chapek could be the savior of Splash Mountain? Not sure. Pheneix said he doesn't think the PATF overlay at WDW will ever happen. It sounds like Iger wants the PATF overhaul whereas Chapek doesn't. They're supposedly in a huge war now, with Chapek allegedly winning. Pheneix even claims the company has completely turned on Iger and are preparing to kick him out in disgrace. We'll see what happens.
Apparently, the original idea was to have Louis be one of Dr. Facilier's previous victims, but they thought it made the film too complicated so they just made him a normal alligator.PS - the writers really messed up by having all the animals talk throughout the movie. Would have been much better if all the talking animals were people that the good doctor had cursed.
Plus you could have a really neat scene in which a chubby kid named Louis making a deal with Facilier to be the best trumpet player ever... a neat little throwback to the legend of Robert Johnson.
