I actually had to google, because I didn’t remember that line bein’ in the movie...
It’s actually from a movie called “BASEketball”, which I have never seen. No less funny, though...!!!!!

I think Highmark which is a Blue Cross/Blue Shield company. There was a building in the downtown area I saw from the river that said Highmark.@MySmallWorldof4 , have fun at the Aviary!!Unrelated, but noticed the highway sign to Pittsburgh. Might you know if that's a big hub for Blue Cross/Blue Shield? Only inquiring because my MA health plan billing originates from Pittsburgh.
The one and only time we have eaten at BOG was for dinner on June 9th of 2019, so about 6 mos. after it full-opened on Dec. 6th, 2012.
Somehow, it just doesn't seem that long ago the BOG opened up. (Note: I've never been to BOG, as I always heard it was a mob scene there.) Cosmic Ray won out over the Beast for me. Yep, fruitarians. Is there such a thing as “fruitan” for people that only eat fruit...?!![]()
Almost makes you wonder if you can drop the cable, go with a streaming service, drop them after a bunch of months and then go back to get the new subscriber option of the cable companies. We have Comcast too. Hate it. I wish it was just a la carte channels. We would maybe choose 5. Why can't they just offer the sports packages?I'll tell you where I hope it's heading... I hope the cable companies are learning some lessons... Lesson 1. People want to pick and choose their programming. Lesson 2. Cable shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Lesson 3. Give everyone the same pricing. whomever came up with this you get XX price for 2 years and then because you are no longer a new subscriber, we are going to gouge you and not offer you the good pricing, should be hung by his/her toenails. Lesson 4. Good customer service goes a long way. (Looking at you comcast!)
He is so right! And that is why there are hospital corporations that buy out hospitals and doctor offices. The insurance companies are running the show and private hospitals and doctors cannot afford to stay in business. Our local hospital and doctor offices near it was owned by one corporation. About 10 months ago it got bought out by another.Yup, that's it. Just looked it up. And as one of my brothers pointed out to me years ago, when you see skyscrapers in large cities, they're often insurance companies . . . just shows how much $$$$$$ they're making . . .![]()
On the plus side they will probably never have scurvy!
You would think that those companies would have thought of that. I know that I switch back and forth between AT&T and Time Warner. I get two years of good rates and it goes up to ridiculous. I drop one and get the intro rate from the other and the cycle continues. They never seem to feel that rewarding the steady customer is important. They expect us to pay the bills for the new ones. Apparently there is a significant number that remain so it does work. When I let one or the other know that I am switching then all of a sudden I can get a cheaper rate. I tell them if they had done that for me on their own I would have stayed. Within the next year I will be moving so I will hang on until then.Almost makes you wonder if you can drop the cable, go with a streaming service, drop them after a bunch of months and then go back to get the new subscriber option of the cable companies. Good grief -- 2012? Where did the time fly?!Somehow, it just doesn't seem that long ago the BOG opened up. (Note: I've never been to BOG, as I always heard it was a mob scene there.) Cosmic Ray won out over the Beast for me.

We only have Comcast where I live. You would think that those companies would have thought of that. I know that I switch back and forth between AT&T and Time Warner. We are basic cable with a sports package.I would chose the basic cable local channels and then just a few other....food network, HGTV, The History channel, Travel Channel, and Animal Planet.
We have another but I don't remember the name. It has no reputation at all and I do not feel like being the adventurous one when it comes to this. I am way to technologically naive to take the chance. Hopefully, there will soon be a buzz about their service and I will have another option. I have had Direct TV in the past and really wasn't impressed. Every time we had heavy clouds I would lose the signal. We only have Comcast where I live.![]()
To me it seems worse than a soap opera![]()
