I’ve lost all hope in them doing good remakes.

Why? Cinderella, Jungle Book and Pete’s Dragon were great. I think Stitch will be too.

I liked those three, haven’t seen Maleficent or Into the Looking Glass, but BatB and Alice in Wonderland were both bad. I personally don’t think that Lilo and Stitch will be good in live action format.

BatB wasn't *bad* per se, it was just meh. It was fine. It just wasnt great. It was a little flat.

I haven't seen Alice so can't comment on that one.

I thought batb was decent. Didn’t care for Male or Alice.

But maybe you’re right. The biggest redeeming quality was that it was hand drawn. Otherwise it was very ET. Hmm

Remakes should have been geared to the villain's perspective starting with maleficent. Imagine how much more interesting live action lion king would be if after simba leaves, the rest of the movie is about scar's rule? Or include some things that were cut out of the movie for one reason or another, like turning live action lion king, for example, into the original concept king of the jungle.
