Yeah. Not that old though. Only six months appartently.

I did end up buying it. I mean, look:

That's my micro SD card adapter in there. It's actually stuck in there. Thankfully, I've got two spares. Those two USB ports also don't work, so I have an expander attached on the other side to the one that does work.

Needless to say, continuing on like this probably isn't wise...

I liked Steinbeck too, but I could see how people mind find him depressing. I never could get into Mark Twain though. My favorite books assigned in English class were both by Willa Cather, "Oh Pioneers" and "My Antonia". Both about pioneers in the west.

I freaked out, went to her house, we chose selections.

She then asked me to make spreadsheets, give QS and Snack recommendations..and any other “tips”.. and then she’d review it all on the drive there. :hilarious:

She hasn’t been since 2001 and doesn’t have a clue of what’s in the parks now. Husband hasn’t been since he was 8 years old.

They’re planning to be at parks at rope drop and stay til closing.. 1.5 Resort days in the mix.

As of one hour ago she still hasn’t looked under the “parks” section of the website.:hilarious::hilarious:

So.. I’m wishing them the best. I think they’ll be ok.. but I’m sending general tips/advice in an email in the event that she forgets everything I said.

I, of course, hope they have an awesome time, but, this just sounds like a complete and total stress-fest...not any kind of vacation...prayers for them...!

yikes!~ that definitively is not good. I'm surprised it hasnt failed on that side.

They’re pretty laid back about things like that though., and somehow my sister got every reservation I recommended at 60 days out.. so even though I’m stressed for them, they probably aren’t.lol.

I haven’t received any more questions via text, so I’m assuming it’s all good. I’m so curious to know how it’s going though!!! I only talked to her for about 30 second before they went to Enchanted Tales with Belle. Half of this stuff are things that T and I have never done, and didn’t really pay attention to until @dryerlintfan ’s trip report.

I took a 3 year old boy and 6 year old girl almost 10 years ago.. it was June, miserable, I overestimated my “cool aunt” abilities.. and skipped half of MK due to crowds. I was never a rope drop person, probably should have been on that trip. Almost all FPs were gone by the time we arrived @ 10:30am. (Btw/ this is one of the reasons why I love FP+!)
Shortly after arrival I handed my 3 year old nephew a mickey bar to eat in his stroller. A few minutes later it was all over his white shirt. It was melting quickly in the sun and he turned it upside down.lol. That whole trip was such a hot mess. :hilarious:
I don’t even remember the Belle stuff being there at the time. Maybe we just totally walked by it.

I'm not saying that you are misbehaving, just that a few of your posts are rubbing some people the wrong way. However, you will not be the first or last poster who has started out on the wrong foot but has then gone on to be a popular and well respected poster. Give it time.
