No idea why, but when i join these forums i instantly get hate.
Its pretty easy to know why...
  • You just joined the forum and started to post normally.
  • Out of nowhere, you called a member who has been posting here way longer than you. Like you somehow had some sort of authority (which You don't). Noone likes this.
  • We've had a few trolls already trying to be smoochy and then starting the same exact cycle of annoyances/subtle trolling.
If you do #2 ANYWHERE , specially when you're new.. its going to annoy some people who are more established and know the rules.

Sure. I agree. I don’t think Rhode Island is that awful yet though. ;)Been there. Pretty state. :)
Well, he might just need a change of scenery.

I know that some types of towns, cities, lands..etc.. can cause depression on some people.

I sure as hell do not like the state's capital (Guadalajara) and I get sick living there.. but in Mexico City or where I am, I live pretty decently.

So he might just need to try somewhere else regardless of how pretty it is :P

Kinda reminds me of the famous joke you see online "Welcome to Ohio, now you're stuck in Ohio!" (with a list of things they hate of Ohio.)

I only buy books if I need one for a trip or my Disney related books. Although my library system has a decent amount of Disney books too.
I buy all of my Star Wars books. I get good hard copies of them and keep them in good shape. I checked out Lost Stars out of the library, and it was a huge mistake because a few months later, I wanted to read it again, so I bought it. I read it every May 4 now, so I'm about due, although I'm itching to pick it up again, so it may be April this year. I like having my other Star Wars books on hand as well, especially since they help fill in some of the gaps in between the movies. Force Awakens made so much more sense after reading Bloodline.

Other than that, if there are books I particularly enjoyed, I buy them. I have the Hunger Games trilogy (another series I'm kind of itching to reread), some Nicholas Sparks books, Anne of Green Gables, and a few others. There's another series I recently read that I definitely want copies of because they were SO good.

Yikes, almost feels like you're an online coach for Disney :hilarious:

I know! But I haven’t heard from her in awhile, so they must be doing fine. :)
nice!

How busy are the parks I wonder?

I keep reading on a few areas that the weekend was packed to the seams.

I checked wait times, they look consistent to what I typically experience. I told her to just keep adding FPs.

I don’t know why her and bro in law chose to wear sandals on a 6:30am-11pm day... but I’m sure they’ll be fine.

I've just glanced at a couple of your posts. The world is a big place, and other posters have different experiences/opinions about things, which doesn't make them right or wrong, just different. You asked if other people liked a certain era "Micky." When someone said no, but then noted which era he/she preferred, you asked if it was a joke. As if no one could honestly and seriously disagree about something that is subjective.

Also, when people mention things that are outside of your experience you have reacted as if they are mistaken, and you try to correct them - even if they're right because they have different information than you. Which is annoying.

This the Chit Chat Chit Chat thread - I set the rules for it, and members know to just hit the report button if they think someone is misbehaving.

I'm not saying that you are misbehaving, just that a few of your posts are rubbing some people the wrong way. However, you will not be the first or last poster who has started out on the wrong foot but has then gone on to be a popular and well respected poster. Give it time.

I loved Anne of Green Gables. I still have my original books and hoped that one of my kids would love them. (Girls of course). Nope. I had to force my oldest to read the first one. I thought she would like it because she loved all the Little House books. Did you read the Emily series by LM Montgomery also?

Ha ha.. I don’t know the joke.. but it was definitely a culture shock at first. I actually love Cincinnati now though.. there really is a lot to do here.. And we’re bordered by Kentucky and Indiana.. so it’s imposible to be stuck.. we have no choice but to cross a bridge at some point ;)

Dh said that 7DMT had a 90 minute wait early in the AM. TSMM had a 120 min wait this morning. I know they are not at that park, but that is nuts! Hopefully things will die down starting tomorrow. I think most schools should be back in session tomorrow.

I can get through 4 states in less than 1 and a half hours.

I have those, but I could never get into them. Anne was always it for me, and I actually reread the first book a few months ago. And I loved the new Netflix series.
