Can everyone please walk away from the argument now? You're not going to get a gold star for winning an internet debate, anyhow. Un-ruffle your feathers, and let this one go, please.

This is a fun, light-hearted thread for just chit chatting. This is the place for updates on the ups and downs of life, news of the weird, favorite TV shows, good movies, etc. But we should all at least act like friends. ;) Clean slate and all that.

I'll start by saying I just saw Gone Girl. Whoa! Didn't see that coming. But I won't tell you what - no spoilers please.

I love CoP, but Country Bears is just not my thing. We did it last trip for the nostalgia....I hadn't seen it since I was a kid and I thought maybe I hadn't remembered it from my childhood. I didn't really like it then, but thought maybe I would have a new appreciation for it as an adult. Nope. Tiki is another one I'm not fond of. But I think that's the beauty of Disney....if you don't like one thing, there are plenty of others. I LOVE the Philharmagic...so cute. Bugs at AK terrified DS, I fell asleep during FotLK (That MAY have just been that I was SOOOOO tired that day from getting up early to do laundry before the rest of the family got up), but we all LOVED Nemo. I think Disney learned though, that with some of those longer attractions or shows, people will need an exit. There will be potty emergencies, or scared kiddos, and they have learned to make a convenient exit place for those incidents, so the newer ones have that where the older ones don't.
I cannot stand Coutry Bears. I don't like traditional country music either, which may have something to do with it. Although Big Al is ocassionally a good reference. Like, he fell and "There was blood on the saddle...blood on the rug..." 😂😂😂

Tiki Birds I don't mind. I was absolutely shocked when I was on DL and my friend wanted to do Tiki Birds. Like, really? You do? My parents hate Tiki Birds, so my brother and I end up doing it ourselves.

CofP...once, we weren't actually escorted off of it, but after the third scene played three times in a row, we left. Along with most of the theater.

From what I know of the COP theater, is that if someone leaves during the show, the scene starts again. At least that is what happened on one of our trips. There had been a glitch with the ride. Every time someone left, the scene would restart. It was really funny. The CM came on the mic and said that people needed to stay and not leave so that the ride could continue. I am guessing that is not a normal thing, but just an issue they had on this day. I cannot imagine that people exiting would cause it to restart normally. If so people would go bonkers. I personally love COP, mostly the turn of the century and up to 1940 scenes. I could skip the modern one. I guess I like all the nostalgia ones it seems. Oh except the Speedway. Do not like that one.

I just read about the new charge for parking at the resorts. Luckily we won't get hit this year as we booked months ago, but seriously this is making me rethink next year. If we keep 1 AP we can still park at the parks for free and get dining and merchandise discounts. We could just stay offsite. Who the heck filled out those surveys and said that paid parking for resorts was a good thing. They charge more than offsite hotels. If they were smart, they should have just increased room and ticket prices and include parking in those fees. Oh wait, they did increase those prices too. Logic and my heart are at crossroads right now.:cautious:
