Would you work there again if you could?

Honestly...no.
I, mostly, enjoyed my time there, but, wanna' leave the Magical memories as they are, and forget the not-so-magical ones (there were more not-so-magical ones than you'd think. As I've posted before, I should've taken notes so I coulda' written a book...the good, the bad, and the ugly ;)). Again, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything, but, I honestly have no desire to work for TWDC in any capacity ever again.
No bitterness, as I left on my own terms. Although it was never remotely close to perfect, it's just not the company it used to be not even all that long ago.
A big PASS...

Ok, it looks like we need some calm in here....remember, we can all agree to disagree and we all have our moments where we read more into a post than was meant, or we take something the wrong way. It doesn't help matters to get sanctimonious and start insulting one another or ganging up on one person. So...with that in mind....

Oh look! A distraction!!

Nope, no kinda' cute little post can cover this. The same member here does this time and time and time again. It's just so condescending and rude. And, I suggest you go back and revisit the definition of sanctimonious...pretty sure that's comin' from the holyer-than-thou,know-it-all side of this equation. One recent example is I just simply asked another member what her goals were for her son being involved in so many sports all at the same time. The member I wasn't even addressing went off on me like I had poked her with a cattle prod...the mother I was addressing answered my post in a calm and detailed manner that I completely understood. That's what adults do. Not have some kinda' hissy because of your kneejerk perception of what your waiting to pounce on.
It's so funny how most of the rest of us in this thread just just wanna' hang out, and be silly about most of our crazy lives, and you just wanna' rag, because you know all and the rest of us are just imps...at least, in your mind.
And yes, I will say that with no No apologies at all websites I've ever known you on 'cause that's just the way you are...!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a long day, had to be up early. We were given tickets to a morning tea for Woman's Month in Chicago by my daughters landlord who is a professor at the University of Chicago. He knows my love of the struggles and love of
Mary Wollstonecraft a woman in history that carved the way and she was one of the women depicted in history along with another favorite of mine Ada Lovelace. He kindly gave us his tickets he was comp'd for his wife and himself. It was a lovely morning but a long quick trip back and forth given we are doing the same trip on Thursday to the City but so worth it. The University puts on a very strong presentation and it is inspiring.

Awww, how sweet! My DD had several contenders vying for her affection in pre-school. When the one turned 4, he invited DD for his birthday and when I asked him what he'd like for his birthday, he said he wanted a kiss from DD. :inlove::hilarious: It was so cute. Another lost any chance he might have had when he poked her arm with his index finger and it hurt.

A young boy in kindergarten you could tell he just loved my DD. One day in line to go into school in the morning he walked over and kicked her in the shin. I got a call from the school as he made her cry and an aide saw it happen up provoked. His Mom a lady I am fond of and all of her kids found me when I was picking my DD up, she worked also as an aide in the school. Mortified she explained he talked about her all the time fondly. I let her off the hook acknowledging what a nice kid he always was. Little tiny boys in Love are cute. But please don't hurt my kid.

We actually like the country bears too. DS cracks up in there, especially when the bear on the swing comes down. :)

When my kids were little we frequented the Country Bears. They liked it then. We will dodge the rain, we will go when the parks are overwhelmingly crowded and hot. It is old school Disney and who doesn't love those? And given there is rarely a wait it is a quick in and out and Disney edited the show to make it shorter so people would stop walking out during it. Disney has the same problem with guests walking out of the CoP that I love but if you don't get the nostalgia or how the attraction actually operates when an exit door operates, escaping is a problem unlike the attraction at AK Bugs or Muppets at the Studios where guests bail all the time.

As far as I've seen, there really isn't a make equivalent. Disney specifically targets moms for the Mom's Panel but I've never seen a Dad's Panel. The Moms Panel is the worst though. Their answers are almost never helpful, and they drip with fake enthusiasm.

I agree there isn't an equivalent. The Mom's panel came in during the launch of Disney creating their own moderated forums where your posts had to be approved in their forums. If they didn't like your opinion or question it didn't get posted. I don't know that they even exist anymore. WDW private fan forums were too well established for most fans to get on board with the rah rah they tried to create. Disney moved onto a moderated blog where they control the questions with what they choose to answer. The Mom's Panel is the same. Very controlled and highly moderated much like their surveys of guests.

Were your ducts completely exposed or they were inside walls and covered with plaster?

Different levels of usage makes a huge difference in damage, corrosion,etc..[/QUOTE]

My duct work in my home had plaster, wall board and in the basement completely exposed so a mixture.

I have been in more aquatic facilities than most. These are the standard industry type ducts that are constructed to keep the air quality manageable and why they are pretty lightweight, they pump the humidity out along with the chlorine out of the air. The facility my kids work at installed similar in 2006 as the chlorine in the air was nasty as was the humidity from all the pools in the Aqua Center. I'll very curious as are they what made these break loose. A freak fail or a design failure that others will have to take a look at.

It depends on the material, I've seen A/C and ventilation systems that are actually made out of PVC or other plastics in big stores. Not all of them are "inflatable". They still need the "wiring" or the system that holds them either to the pillars or to the ceiling.

Also.... no maintenance? what? thats silly, every system that moves air, gas or water requires maintenance in some way (to remove fungus, patch holes, check for debris..etc..).
The only real infrastructure that requires almost zero maintenance is actually cabling and networking.

I've never seen that in our aquatics. PVC is actually banned in our community exception being under sinks to connect to steel. Our code is now copper.
