I think that's the whole of it...they get stuck in that mindset of how bad things are and it's not that they want to die, it's just that they want the pain to stop. That's not something that can happen immediately. So it seems like the fastest option to make it stop. And kids are dealing with it at younger and younger ages. It's so scary.That's too bad. Young kids don't understand that life can change....for the better...or you learn more coping skills as you get older. So very sorry.
