Watching Weather Channel @Gabe1. Looks like Orlando is no longer in the cone. It seems to keep edging a little west.

That would be great! We have so many here in the Lodge from the bottom half of Florida.

Disney lifted its Dog Ban for resorts of those who fled so there are so many Pups in the resorts and in the parks yesterday. So much rain since this morning. It is windy but so far not anything we don't get at home every few weeks.

*the lady CM on the Mega Phone down in the lobby can lower the volume a tad though or everyone is going to have a migraine.

awesome marathon!!!

We ended yesterday at 24 ride attractions, ate around the entire World Showcase, met countless characters. Odd thing though yesterday the photopass photographers were missing in the miss. You had to take your own photos except for a few rare sightings of a photographer. It wasn't raining on us yesterday so I was confused.

@gabe if and when are you going to UNI? Hint if you go, go to Antijitos for fresh chips, guac and salsa(all house made and the margaritas and sangriais are:hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry:

Thanks for the hint! Our plans include a day at Uni and a day at Volcano. We might revise those two days now that two days will be resort rest days by default of Irma. I don't have an annual pass to Uni but do for Disney so we might forego Uni this trip, not sure yet 'cause we have hit just about everything on our bucketlist and Disney Springs twice so time will tell.

And Irma is stubbornly going West as I the satellite path shows.
No idea why the NHC insists its going to Florida o_O

But then, better safe than sorry.

I honestly believe Irma is going to go to the gulf, strengthen back to cat5.. and hit our sorry butts (Mexico) or Texas again :(

*edit*
Nevermind, Irma is starting to move west northwest. Like bouncing away from Cuba. Also.. christ.. Irma is huge!
The north tail is covering all florida.

Last night it looked as if it would go into the Gulf, even early morning. We are getting the on and off heavy rains from Irma's Tail. Wind about 20 mph. Our mini tornado a few weeks ago was 95mph. I really wonder about some of these new DVC Cabins. The have the lake on one side and a drainage creek in landscaping on the otherside of most separating them from hotel buildings with footbridges. Last night the water was just under a foot from the level of the flat foot bridges. All week there have been so many mosquitoes down by the boats and waterfront. Crazy amounts of mosquitoes I mean. The frogs are camping with them but likely just too many to devour. They are also at night hundreds and hundreds of mosquitoes in the boat and dock from the Magic Kingdom to resorts. I'm surprised. The parks and the rest of the resort is absent of the little buggers.

Hard to photograph but nasty.

Our smallest grandson, got his black belt at age 9. He was the smallest in his class a bully started pushing and shoving him. He turn around and showed him some karate moves, and no more trouble. Dad asked what he would do if the kid kept it up, he could throw him to the ground or do a high kick, and get him in his face. He said he would chose the "send him to the ground", it wouldn't hurt him, as the high kick would break his nose. He chose wisely. They emphasize know how to use self defense, but don't do anything until attacked. He took that oath very carefully. And he stopped the bulling with only a demo.

My Dad was a novice Judo instructor (for the fun of it) at a YMCA. It was mandatory that Sis and I took Judo lessons.

This resort is being so accommodating. QS open 24/7 and the gift shop also open 24/7 for Hurricane Irma Season. They have all 3 restaurants open including Artist Point with a different menu for 3 meals vs just dinner. I'm feeling for the CP cast members as they are running on 4 hours sleep and doing most of the kids activities from early morning and currently there is a Halloween Party happening in the lobby. Arcade is free and filled with the older kids.

here you go @ajrwdwgirl Yesterday when we were leaving Epcot for the MK via the Boardwalk bus.

They were up from the Miami area. They came in with the friendliest Pup and a new full sized Wooden Crib and Mattress.
Two things I've never seen at Disney while cooling off in their lobby waiting on the bus.

Such a cute pup such a pretty color. It has an unsure and shy stance and reminds me of how Kapono looks when we go out in public.
