My grandma was 5'2" and now is barely 4'10". She has scoliosis at the base of her spine, and her lungs are actually collapsing because of it. She now has to do breathing exercises daily to avoid losing lung capacity.

The plan is when my kids get older for each of them to have an MRI on their brains to make sure they are ok since it is genetic. They have the ability nowadays to prevent them from bursting. But prayers for your FIL. I hope he will be alright.

My best friend from our second neighborhood in No Cal had a 13 yr. old older sister that passed from an aneurysm. It burst and she passed 3 days later. I remember them traveling back to their home state of Missouri to bury her. I remember telling him how sorry I was after he got back from Missouri and him thanking me, and that was the last we ever talked about it. I never heard if there was a family history. It definitely left a lasting impression on me. Every time I read or hear the word aneurysm, my mind goes directly back to that time.
A few years ago I started having unusual head pain, and eventually an MRI on my head.
They found nothing up there ;), fortunately, and the pains eventually went away and have not come back since. They said it could have just been some sort of virus. :cyclops: No family history that I know of.
With a history in the family, those early scans for y'all's kiddos sound like a good idea, especially to catch something early.
Anyway, prayers that all are clear when y'all get them done, and they have no problems in the future.

I really liked Cars 3.:) I did get choked up at points during it. (And darn it! can there be one Disney film that doesn't bring tears to my eyes? :confused:I mean this was Cars!!!! Not as many tears as Toy Story 3 of course, but still a couple.):D

So many theaters like that around now. Sooo much more comfortable than bein' squished into those old theater seats and havin' to readjust your position every 5 mins. 'cause your beeeeehind was gettin' sore...!!! :hilarious: ;)

True unless it isn't a very full theater. I change seats at times because I am short. A tall person sits in front of me and I would move.

It is nice though, you can online order ticket and not have to show up 'till start time and know you have good seats and seats together. I tend to wait a few weeks to go to a theater for a newer release. All and all I'd rather watch most films on demand or on DVD, NetFlix

Called the vet and prescription food is evidently the next step. Ugh!

Hoping that when we get the new cat, they'll make friends so maybe she'll be a bit less spiteful about when I'm not there.
