Do you honestly think that something that has been around for almost 40 years already is a "fad"? Really? And with multiple movies coming out over the next several years?

I'm hoping they don't allow strollers in the area, all strollers need to be parked outside of the land lol
Honestly, I'm not even sure... something more Coruscant-y?

So I assume most have seen pictures of these really sad cabanas popping up at MK at WDW:

Welp...I just saw this on the WDW side of the board:
lentesta: So what I've heard is that it's a test in the MK, and soon in Epcot. If it's successful, planners have already set aside 1.5 acres in DLR and in DHS's Star Wars areas for more substantial versions of them.
Yikes

I don't get it. What are they for?
And the worst thing is the double wide strollers.the influx of strollers at DL in recent years has become a serious problem in the context of immersive storytelling. I'm hoping they're working on a way to hide the stroller parking areas in SW Land.
Nothing says "the future" like a sea of strollers piled together in the middle of Tomorrowland.

They're for not smart guests who want to pay $649 a day for a makeshift tent to sit in between rides.
I wonder if there are restrictions that Disney could impose on the size of strollers allowed in the parks without serious backlash from entitled monsters like the lady you describe. Some strict usage rules enforced by park security to along with size restrictions would be good too.
Disney could absolutely ban strollers over a certain size on health and safety grounds. They could put up a pass through device at the security check (much like the measuring device at airlines for carry-on luggage). If the stroller is too big to roll through the pass through, guests can't bring it in. They can then bring it back to their car or hotel and they can rent one of the small strollers Disney provides.I'm guessing that if the airlines can restrict the size of a luggage maybe Disney can restrict size of strollers for safety reasons at least in parks like Disneyland where walkways are not very wide and strollers are starting to take up huge sections of the park.
It's too bad Disney can't just limit or remove the rental of them as well although that might backfire and guests might bring bigger ones from home
Just ban all strollers.
Good way to thin out the crowds a bit. But are these the people you want in the park spending money on retail and food? Or do they smuggle in their food using the stroller?I agree, but the backlash, bad press, general wailing, & legal challenges (which Disney would win, but still) makes it unlikely to happen.

But Disney won't stand up to that particular backlash, so I doubt there will be a solution to that issue.
Brand new update video!
This is the second time I've been there the same day as our videographer friend and missed her!!
