Yes it looks like they started removing the soil from the pathway that will cross right under the railroad track.
Looks like it will be really close to the hungry bear restaurant near the retaining wall of the berm they cut.

The pathway seems to wrap around the bottom level of the eating area

It seems like it is almost as wide as the bridge that goes over the Splash Mountain drop. Really would have been great if they had considered a fourth entrance similar to the critter country one. A tunnel that went from the new land to the walkway between the fantasyland theater and railroad tracks.
Creating another way out of that dead end.

Hoping that if the rumor of a fantasyland expansion is true that they add a new walkway between star wars land and storybook canal.

Right now it seems like there will still be an access road and large dirt mound.
I think that acces road can easily be turned Into a themed guest pathway with gates at the northern end that can be opened after hours for service.

They have done similar things before in DCA and within the long Indy queue. That queue has a point where there are large doors that can swing open and create a large access point for after hours. I remember seeing the ara beforenitnopened to the public and was still under construction

I noticed that as well. I'm very curious about all the grade changes that'll happen in that area.

I also wonder if this will be the western entrance to SW Land. I assume it will be because the DLRR trackbed is being laid along the bern just to the left and it appears that it will stay at that grade to connect to the track behind HBR.

If this is the trestle shown in front of the largest waterfall in the back-of-river illustration, then this would be the river access to the Fantasmic! storage building/marina. As noted in the DL permits forum, it is supposed to be significantly larger than the old marina at the back of Big Thunder Ranch, just inside the DLRR.

My rebel spies tell me some interesting stories about this facility including preventing methane gas and loading pyrotechnics indoors, but I am reluctant to share because the Emperor Palpatrump has agents everywhere.

That doesn't look like the trestle for the Fantasmic access. This one when seen from videos from parking structure is on western side closest to the critter country entrance when train first turns right.

The one that has the waterfall for Fantasmic storage is closer to the area that already has rockwork and also has the tall wall. You can kind of see the channel where the barges will travel in some of the videos

I think you're right @Ismael Flores. You can also see straight through to the other side beneath the trestle, and I assume that the Fantasmic storage entrance resembles a cave or tunnel. It does look like there's framework being built behind it that will presumably be for brickwork, so who knows?

Chapek to D23:
Bob told D23, “We’re challenging ourselves to be as ambitious as possible with the development of the Star Wars-themed lands. We know the playbook in terms of how to make a ‘land’ and how to make an attraction. But incumbent with moving forward, is challenging ourselves to make it bigger and better than even sometimes we could have dreamed. I think the key word for me for the Star Wars lands that will distinguish them from everything else, with the unbelievable attractions we’re going to have, is the word ‘immersive.’” Disney fans feel that immersion when entering a land like Cars Land, but Bob feels the new Star Wars-themed lands will take that one step further: “Every element of that land will be in story.”

Cool!

But all that build up just for the word "immersive," as if it's a word they don't use when describing nearly every single thing they do? Haha. :D

A new nighttime version of the concept art was released today as well.

This is technically for WDW... but they've clearly homogenized that version, so I guess it doesn't matter.

It's pretty much the same as the previous daytime version released earlier this year for DL. *shrugs*
