My dh had a good news/bad news type of day at work yesterday. The bad news is he won't be able to get any time off this fall, the good is it looks like a project he really want to work on starts right after we get back.

Was that suppposed to be the time for your kid-free trip ?

It's freaking hot out right now, and next week it's supposed to be even hotter.

At least it's not pouring down rain like it was yesterday. I had to drive 30 mph down an expressway with my hazards on at one point.

We're going to try for 2 trips next year sans kiddos. One before our UNI APs expire. Long story short anything over 4 days and AP works best for UNI if you're not doing the water park. not to mention food and shopping discount. 2nd trip food and wine. That should be funny me going for a food event with my allergies wine sounds good

Thank you it doesn't hurt too much as we had no real plans or reservations yet. Besides in 2 weeks in heading down for almost a month of vacation so no pitty party here.

Well, we don't have them in the Netherlands, so it's nice to have connections here. It's a really small town, so everyone knows everyone and they are willing to help. Last time I came away with 62 books. I won't be able to do that this time, but I have several I want to look for.

Goodness, Betty, if it takes that long to adjust from Colorado to Florida, I would suggest that you not ever travel to Europe or Asia. Heck just sailing back from Europe we had to move our clocks back at least every two days for 10 days.
