I know it's not like Tangled I'm saying it reminds me of the scene.Well, Tangled is the animated version of the real life lantern festival that happens in Thailand.
This show is a reference to that festival, not to Tangled

I would imagine the last show will be at park close or possibly 15-30 minutes after.A glitch on the MDE app revealed that there will be 3 showings per night. I imagine that the latest show would have to start fairly late.
Thanks. 5000 is the capacity I heard, too (think I mentioned that a few days back). 15,000 total capacity seems reasonable for the park.I was lucky enough to attend a career fair presentation today by a project manager with WDI who works on Animal Kingdom, and he shared some Rivers of Life information.
He specifically said the theater was designed for 5,000 guests a show with the intention of 3 shows a night, with the intention of extending park hours to 11pm or later.
When he was talking about the physical elements of the show, he said that the lanterns on the water seen in the concept art are basically gps controlled mini boats that can be used to make patterns in the water, and that there would be approximately 150 of them in the show.
Also, he mentioned something about water screens and projections coming from moving boats, not just stationary barges. It seems to me that the shot of the bear running across the water in the youtube video could be one of these moving screens.
He seemed very excited about the show, as well as everything else happening to the park. His project is Avatar, so he mostly talked about that. All very cool.

I think you should give it a chance rather than make assumptions.
So they took three awesome things and combined them into an awesome hybrid mashup.
any word on avatar that you can shareI was lucky enough to attend a career fair presentation today by a project manager with WDI who works on Animal Kingdom, and he shared some Rivers of Life information.

Yes. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/animal-kingdom/animal-kingdom-night/Is the concept of the Tree Of Life 'Glowing" still happening??
Oh no, how unfortunate for all of the horrid teenagers that flood the parks.April 22nd?! Booo! Disney couldn't have this ready for all the spring breakers?! Selfish, I know, but this sucks.

Oh no hunny teenagers are bad regardless of generation.Every generation says the same thing about the following generation. If everyone was progressively worse than their forebearers, I'm pretty sure we'd be living in a Mad Max style dystopia right now.
You are mistaking Walt Disney World for Six Flags. WDW is flooded with families during Spring Break. Some have teenaged children but it's not overrun.Oh no hunny teenagers are bad regardless of generation.
