. For some. Personally, I'd be at the new nighttime spectacular. To each his own.Nope.
But given the choice of seeing RoL or spending a wonderful evening at V&As, it's a no-brainer.

Maybe my view is just different seeing as i'm local and can go to the parks whenever I want.. For some. Personally, I'd be at the new nighttime spectacular. To each his own.
Does anybody know if/when they might have soft showings? Will they be announced ahead of time?
Clip show of what? There are no Disneh films being used in this except some DisneyNature clips. This is a show with a really cool sounding original story. How dare Disney use all of their technology and experience from other nighttime shows and combine them all in one.So, yes it is great they are doing something new. But to play devils advocate, it looks like Illumuniations, World of Color and Fantasmic had a baby. Its a clip show on water. I won't be rushing to see it while we are there 5/5-5/11.
No clue.Who said April 22 then
It would seem likely. Soft openings can be completely unannounced, invite only, leaked beforehand, cast member only, and so on. It varies from project to project. We have not had any reliable word on this yet.Does anybody know if/when they might have soft showings? Will they be announced ahead of time?
This must be Disney's real-life version of the see the light scene from Tangled but with Asian lanterns.
For one night in April, there's supposed to be a paid preview of the show before the official show goes live. One pessimistic forum member has griped about the show being paid to watch, but his opinions generally aren't taken seriously.Where did this talk of charging for this show come from?
Where did this talk of charging for this show come from? Like all other night time shows, I assume it's included with park admission. Can any reliable person confirm please?
Thanks. I think that member is probably one of only two that I have 'ignored'. It is included with park admission, just like Wishes, IllumiNations or Fantasmic!Where did this talk of charging for this show come from? Like all other night time shows, I assume it's included with park admission. Can any reliable person confirm please?
To use a context-relevant quip, The Twilight Zone.Where did this talk of charging for this show come from?
Some info on the composers - The music of Rivers of Light
I wonder how the seating copacity will be compared to Fantasmic?
