What's wrong with a B? My mom got mad at me once because I brought home an A-. I don't understand what was wrong with that to this day. I remember in 7th grade, I got a B+ in Science and I was crying and my friends didn't understand why, because they thought it was a great grade, but they didn't have to take it home to my mother, who was expecting straight A's.
I remember those days, too. Mom always asked why I didn't get an A when I got a B.

No worries about spoilers as I won't be going on Star Tours - it makes me nauseous. :(
its funny now that you mention the nauseous.. I was fine until the end, when the cabin started to smell like burning oil.
Noone else seemed to get the smell. but it was empowering when you left the thing. THAT got me dizzy and nauseated.. I think I mentioned it when In my first report on my first trip.

The pneumatic pumps in the bottom of the "cabin", was the source of the smell (the system that moves the cabin to make it look like its flying)

It's report card day and I'm trying not to blow a gasket! My little guy came home with a B not a B+ but a regular old B. I'm trying to calm down. I'm really trying not to go full on Beverly Goldberg right now. LOL
B's happen. Unfortunately. I wouldn't worry about it. It's great to have A's as the standard, but honestly, because my dad has never accepted B's, I don't tell him anything about my school grades. Even in college, he doesn't ask and I don't tell (Mom is completely aware of my grades because she's calmer). I have a 3.8 GPA. He doesn't need to know the specifics. Self-motivated kids don't need too much parental intervention. Just encourage him to improve, be that raising it to an A or B+

FYI, my dad just walked in and asked why I wasn't doing my homework. I was (hence the textbook). "Turn the TV off; you can't do homework in front of the TV." I'm in college; if I want the TV on while doing homework (which I did all the time in high school), I think I can decide that for myself. The TV is still on.
