Haven't had a TS meal in WDW in many years. I usually manage to scrape together the money to go to WDW once a year; but I far prefer to use what money I have, for things like water parks add-ons to my parks' Hopper ticket, and maybe a facial, at one of the spas.

So for meals, I only use QS, or the Picabu cafeteria at the Dolphin. I budget about $55-$60 a day for everything--breakfast, lunch, dinner, and including treats like ice cream and any drinks (coffee, water, milk, etc.) But--I also bring things in my suitcase, like packages of peanut butter crackers, nuts, cookies, instant oatmeal (I use the hot water feature in the coffee maker in the hotel room), and Cup of Soup. There's also coffee & tea provided in the guest rooms at the hotel. I fully realize my meals method would bore the heck out of the foodies, but my goal has always been to just enjoy the parks, and also stay in a nice, moderately priced hotel on property, in an excellent location. Those are my only priorities.

Having stated the above, if I did have more money, I'd definitely go to TS restaurants (I'd love to try that new Morimoto Asia); or, I'd just go every other year, and spend more on dinners, etc. But for now, I'm just enjoying being a "kid" in the parks, and food really takes a back seat to me. Good luck with your ADRs though; I'm sure you'll pick some good locations for your family.
Thank you I'm still trying to figure out which ones are really worth the time and money. Morimoto's looks really good and it doesn't seem too pricy for what you get.

sometimes fast food and snack food is better than table service food.

How many times can I say food in a sentence? :p

My schedule for next semester is looking more and more like this:

One class on Mondays
One online class
Three classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays
No classes on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Somehow, I like the sound of that...

No Spanish because they aren't running the one that I would really benefit from, Spanish for Business, and I only need one more to be considered proficient, so holding off, and then if they don't run it, I'll take another Spanish class and be done.

I might only have two semesters left...this is unbelievable.
Congratulations!

Ha! There are other things I wonder about as well. They'd have to first make sure that they had passengers who could climb stairs to get up there (even a few stairs); people can have all kinds of physical disabilities and they may not necessarily walk with a cane, for example.. Some people with arthritis have great difficulty with stairs, although to look at them, you'd think they looked perfectly healthy. So will they have a question for any passengers trying to book one of those higher level seats?

Also, I really wonder about their evacuation plan . . .

Lastly, I wonder about how people would react to be facing sideways (everyone else in the plane is facing forward, with windows on the sides), and basically looking at the faces of the other people on the opposite side of them. Will there be high level windows up there, or will the view of these people be the ceiling of the plane? Yuck. Or, to quote our good friend, @Cesar R M , "NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!!"
I was wondering about how people were going to get into those seats, too. They can't really put stairs in because then the in-flight staff wouldn't be able to roll the carts through with snacks and drinks, etc. So the stairs would have to be collapsible or removable, which also causes a delay with boarding. Everyone in those seats would have to be boarded either first or last. And then what do you do if you need to use the bathroom, or get up and move around during the flight? On the news here, they said it was so that people would be able to lie flat when the seat reclined, which sounds good in theory, but you'd have to make sure anyone in those upper seats isn't claustrophobic. It just seems odd to me. I'd like to know how they would address all those issues.

They are shooting an episode of House of Cards over here today.

It's like a madhouse. Security is all over the place. Parking is mostly blocked off. I'm parked in a visitor spot and triple checked that it was fine. A lot of students have to park on the grass. It's pretty annoying to tell you the truth.

Well, at least the school is getting paid for this, which should help keep tuition costs down (and help fund my scholarship). And I'm going to want to figure out which episode so I can see...

Yeah this isn't the kinda stuff we signed up for. I wish major decisions like this were pulled to legislation to decide on a state level vs suing an individual school board. The legal fees alone have to be unbearable for this district. It should be vetted and put into our Illinois State School Code IMO. Then if the school doesn't abide have at suing them. It is too hard to comply when there isn't any guidelines to comply to. And when this moves to places like dressing rooms at Blizzard Beach and Lagoon, it shouldn't be suing Disney IMO it should be legislation that decides with adequate time to make provisions for all.
I just finished reading the response to Daily Herald piece. What a mess. And as the parent of one of those kids who uses the locker room, how about they really clean the locker room, which stinks to high heaven, and solve the lock problem. You have to buy a combination lock from the school. The locker rooms aren't monitored through the day, and kids walk through, break the lock combos, and can help themselves to whatever is in the locker. More times than not, it is just to fit the locks together in a long line of attached locks. New locks I think cost $8 a pop. And in a normal school year, we have gone through 8-10 of them.

I remember seeing an old Youtube video in the early days of Youtube that was made by Disneyland back when ToonTown was new. It featured a guy with a nice mustache and he would get a tour of ToonTown with The Mad Hatter such as Mickey and Minnie's house? I think the video came in three parts and I remember seeing it sometime in 2006 before my second visit to Walt Disney World. If anyone seen it, can you let me know?

I would like to watch that too!

No just regular cuts and my bad my dh said some cuts and ground beef start at $7. The place my dh gets it is local, organic and the cows are happy living in a field until...............and that's why I don't eat beef. Cows are cute.

If you want flavour, this is really the only way to eat beef. I'm cheap so I don't always go for the local stuff but it is a nice treat.

It was so much fun seeing the Hatter and the dude with the mustache inside Minnie's house. I remember the dude tried to have Minnie's cookies but then says "Ahh they burnt cookies very funny" and Minnie's starts giggling. Also I remember the bit where the Hatter told the person that you have to be "This tall" to go inside Goofy's house and he responds by saying "Aww darn". I wish I could found those fun videos again. It the type of stuff I wish WDW and Disneyland would do again. I think this came out sometime in the mid 90's around 94 or 95.
