And dessert: a strawberry peach pie from my daughter's boyfriend's mom. The strawberries and peaches came from her father's garden. So yummy.

Ha! Walt, too?!! What kind of treats does he get? Do you also put in a chew-toy as well? I think this is a great idea you have, and after church this morning, I think I'll stop in Walgreens to find a treat for Jack in the pet section. I actually have a toy (extra from last Christmas--I saved it because he had more gifts than anyone . . . ) so I'll put that in his basket with whatever treat I can find, last-minute, this morning.

Awe I bet Jack loved it. Walt's basket had a knot rawhide bone, a few smaller pork twisted rawhide and then I sprinkled in some various dog treats plus a few beef jerky along with pepperoni sticks. He also received a new sleeve of Kong Tennis balls, the ones that squeak.

Walt has a good life.

Hope all that celebrate had a wonderful Easter, and all that don't had a wonderful Sunday...!

Ours was great! A late morning Mass, then off to mom and pops.
Smoked pork ribs, leg of lamb, baked ham, potato casserole, corn casserole, baked beans, spinach salad, carrot cake, pecan pie, apple pie, oatmeal raisin cookies, cupcakes. And, I know I'm forgettin' some stuff.

And, at exactly 5:56p, I realized I also forgot to get even one darn food pic...

Hubby and I have been discussing going to Disneyland this summer to celebrate the 60th, and about 30 minutes ago I booked our flight for Los Angeles in early August! We will be there for about 8 1/2 days, I think we will do something other than Disneyland, but there is so much to do out there!

They only have up to 5 day passes out there, so keep that in mind. There's plenty elsewhere to do. The San Diego Zoo is great. You can see the inspiration for AK there. And then so many beaches there. Lots to do. Have fun.

I only have heard nothing but nightmare of the POP's and AOA's foodcourt.
I honestly did not like the food court at POR either.

We've been to all 3. They were fine to us. We really enjoyed the AoA food court in July of '12.

Hey, we came out of Bro's in-law's place after a lovely family dinner, and an evening of games and cards to find a blanket of white everywhere, and a car that needed a lot of scraping. Ugh!
