in other news.. I was pretty envious of the pizza talk.

So I decided to take the opportunity that I went downtown to fix a computer of a foreign individual.
(who lives in a very fancy luxury apartment) and went to my favorite pizzeria (that as been active for 30+ years and has a clay hoven) to get one..

I was just curious as to what constitutes a foreigner to somebody living in Mexico!
anybody that isnt Mexican? :|

We do not have that diversity as you guys in the states (where immigrants from all countries gather and keep most of their cultures intact).

We usually have a medium sized influx from China.
But the majority of semi permanent or permanent visitors are just retired americans/canadians.

You cant beat these luxury beach front properties!

I like watching Rick Steve's his shows are interesting. I usually watch them when I go to bed at night. It takes me a couple days to watch one completely, because even though I find them interesting I usually fall asleep after a couple minutes! His voice is kind of soothing, so it lulls me to sleep.

I hate how when your watching a Rick Steves show and then PBS is like 'GIVE US MONEY.' And that is why PBS will always be inferior to the BBC.

Taxes in Britain are for the BBC.

I don't know... I kind of like the idea of having the people that actually watch it, pay for it instead of every single person, even if they don't own a TV, being charged for that service. I don't mind health care as a government tax base because everyone has equal need (relatively). But, to me that would be like paying extra taxes so you can go to WDW. It's not life essential, so why be forced to pay for it?

Hubby and I have been discussing going to Disneyland this summer to celebrate the 60th, and about 30 minutes ago I booked our flight for Los Angeles in early August! We will be there for about 8 1/2 days, I think we will do something other than Disneyland, but there is so much to do out there!

Happy Easter Everyone! Hope you all had great ones.

I can't remember a better Easter. First we had weather in the 60's, sunshine. :D Had a quick little breakfast of Cinnamon Roll Cake and BACON.Opened our Easter Baskets, Wally found his up on the dining room table early in the morning, good sniffer on that one. He couldn't do anything about it though. I have counter height kitchen and dining room tables so no thievery. Then took the dude for a short walk.

Off to meet my Mom we were for Brunch which really was dinner at Noon. Twin Filets, carrots, salad, baked potato, most of which is in my fridge, so much food.

We went on to see my Dad for a couple hours and my DD and I walked around the new pool at their park district after and homeward bound. Took Walt into the woods for a slow walk, as he had to sniff EVERYTHING today. Long walk with little distance.

Dropped Wally at home and we were off to the Melting Pot for our version of Easter Dinner. :hungry:
