I decided to make myself a nice breakfast this morning. Fried eggs, fried ham (I was out of bacon and Spam), Marmite on toast, Heinz baked beans, and of course a cup of tea.

What does Marmite taste like?

It's kind of a beefy smell but you can smell the yeast.

Working in the hospital I know that smell.

That's blue cheese too. I love blue cheese. YUM!

Me too although I got some at Whole Foods that was just too strong for me. It still is in my refrigerator and I'm sure I could use it when I need antibiotics.

Truly, Hubby and I each get pin codes more than half a dozen times/year.

It's a very unique smell and taste. I don't think there's anything to compare it too.

How can people eat cheese with blue mold all over it??!! My father used to love bleu cheese, and just the sight of it made me want to gaaackk.

They look completely normal. It's really weird what the wrong angle and lighting can do. Have you seen this recent picture from Jeopardy?

It's Sooooooo good.

I love cheese, but sadly have to stick to the basics.
Some of the more exotic cheeses make me break out in hives and send me running for the Benadryl.
I can tolerate blue cheese dips and dressing though, no problem.

Ha! Your mom's assessment of the situation was funny. Your love of British things and/or culture also reminds me of another forum member, FutureCEO. (Actually, he's been MIA on this thread for about 2 weeks, but then again, he just got a new job and is probably exhausted from learning so many new things at work.)
