Although not the same thing, I've heard that some of the newer flight simulators are very realistic. I'm sorry that you cannot pilot an aircraft due to your hearing disability.

I don't have the statistics, but with regard to the big airlines, not every crash is catastrophic, believe it or not. Quite often, there are survivors.

I never said "every crash". I mean 99% of the time the plane is un plounge mode (aka unrecoverable nosedive)

Mother to 6' 3" & 6' 4".

And shockingly, half the time I still have to drag a chair over to get things from the top shelf of the pantry.

I love the way you phrase things. If you did the news or weather on tv, I would watch.

Gracias. I would love to do the weather (not really)....to be wrong AND get paid. Actually, the European weather model is usually better than the US one so go with them. Doing the news would be nice but the horribleness of the world would just depress me.

Yes. Actually the cheese and the bread part is my favorite. We scraped that first bowl clean. Basically ignored the salad, ate about 1/2 the various meats and shrimps and stuffed the dessert in.

I had a lovely jumbo glass of Johns German Riesling. They use to carry this brand at the German Pavilion and I loved it. When we'd go down for a few weeks in the fall I'd buy a couple bottles from the wine store and keep in the room. They use to sell it before they rehab'd DTD the last time in the general store. Went so nicely with the chocolate. I didn't drive home.

Absolutely hysterical. Hubby and Son #1 are fighting over who gets my spare kidney and part of my liver.
I am laughing so hard, my sides hurt!

My son says I have to give it to him, as we are both O-Neg blood type.
He says his dad can get organs from Son #2, as they are both O-Pos.

Honestly, I think they only keep me around for spare parts.
