Did Levi's go out of style? Of course I wear them with boots not heels. At 5'9", I don't need heels.

Yeah they did. Still I have always worn them anyhow. I have not been without at least a few pairs. When I was surveying I wore Levi's everyday. Back then they were the strongest jean. Mens are still pretty good quality material, the ladies are not the same but I still like how they fit, plus they come in short, something that is hard to come by in lots of jeans.

Oops. 5" I'm so distracted today. My ex is storing some of his dad's stuff in one of my sheds and I'm trying to be diplomatic between what's good and what needs to visit the dump.

You're a nice lady to allow that!

And as much as I hate any inches of snow I'm glad you are not getting 5 feet!

Cool... Me too! I'm only going for one day though. I'm going to be in Paris for 4 or 5 days and will take the train from there to Disneyland.

Nice!! We are going to be in Belgium so we thought since we are in the area, why not? Not sure how long yet. 1 or 2 days. 2015 was supposed to be a year of no parks for us. But we have 3 trips (2 weddings and a 60th wedding anniversary) that put us in the area of WDW, DL and DLP.

Nice!! We are going to be in Belgium so we thought since we are in the area, why not? Not sure how long yet. 1 or 2 days. 2015 was supposed to be a year of no parks for us. But we have 3 trips (2 weddings and a 60th wedding anniversary) that put us in the area of WDW, DL and DLP.

Paris and Disneyland somehow doesn't go together. I like how Disneyland Paris has a lot of green space, some rides look a lot better than WDW. The other park just looks confused, the layout looks awful. It reminds of MGM.

I luvs me some well-made cake, including red velvet.
But, my all-time fave is carrot cake...

I do like most cakes. Very rich chocolate the best. I won't eat anything with coconut or fruit jelly fillings. Now strawberry short cake, that is not jelly.

I'll probably get to Disneyland Paris one day. I will never go to Disney in Tokyo. Looks like a wonderful park but I have no interest in Tokyo. I have no interest in Disney's two communist theme parks either plus all the smog.

Ha! I agree. But as long as a ding bat has asked for more than a refund I hope the collateral damage is the company manufacturing and making the claims does get what is coming to them. Their always seems to be a dumb market to prey upon.

Yeah, it is being reported but imo anyhow, CNN is the last place I go for any important information. My PUSH on CNN is usually breaking news like who has just scored which touchdown.

I'm not a big cake fan, probably why I'm not crazy about cupcakes ... but I could certainly go for a slice of @donaldtoo's gorgeous carrot cake. With an ice cold glass of milk.
Strawberry shortcake, as long as it's not soggy, is really good too.

Probably because the horses knew better than to run through the windows!!!

You laugh. We have some pretty smart horses here. Sprinkled through town we still have horse tie downs in both our historical district and a few in our town. Though remodeled many of these buildings still exist in our town square. The bank which is no longer a bank was robbed by some famous train bandit so it of course still has the horse tie downs left intact. It is a town rich in history though most of the farms and orchards are gone. Our property belong to an apple orchard and was built by the owner.

Yeah, that is really only a few hours right? I'd be going to DL Paris too!

The forecast here as of earlier today was a little snow, some rain, maybe a little ice. Now it's 3-5 inches of snow, then followed by ice. Boo!

Oh Dear. I best listen to the weather tomorrow morning. I so am not in the mood for additional snow.

I'm the world's best dieter.
Since my hysterectomy though, it's when I'm not dieting that the train goes right off the track.

I do like carrot cake though. With nuts. And cream cheese icing.
And an ice cold glass of milk.

Can you tell I'm still battling the carb-withdrawal head-ache?
