Birk's are the worst. My best friend wore them everyday when we were in high school. Even in winter.

Did Ugg's and Coach purses really go out of style? I still see a lot of them...

I don't know if Coach went out of style really, they've always been there but they did get even more expensive and most went from high end leather to cloth at a higher price. I think it was a learning curve for them.

Ugg's, I laughed at Vouge's comment that they are back and acceptable again. From what I've seen anyhow lots of people didn't care what the fashion peeps said they liked them and kept on wearing them, so they were really not acceptable only in the fashion twits minds. My DD has had many.

Thanks to the likes of Jenny McCarthy, many parents are opting out of immunizing their kids.
"Herd immunity" only works if enough of the herd is immunized.

There are legitimate reasons why some folks cannot be immunized. IMO, it is up to the rest of us to make sure that we get the shots - not only to protect ourselves, but those who are left vulnerable because they can't get the shot.

The theory that immunization shots leads to autism has been debunked on so many levels, that I'm not going to even go there.
Honestly, a peanut butter cookie poses more hazard to way more people than the MMR/PTDP shots.

I can't blame it all on Jenny McCarthy it is too easy to believe one person has that much power over the vaccination attitude. Many don't want to address the Socioeconomics of vaccinating children and the lack of health insurance to do so and over lack of places in some areas to have it done at the board of health or the co-pay income to cover it.

I'm not convinced that vaccinations are one of the multitude of things that could cause autism. One of the things that was presented to us though that is being researched is a combo and how the particular combo of some of vaccinations combined with a popular pain reliever given due to fever from some vaccinations in some children. This was a newer practice because years before fever with children was dealt with baby aspirin. Who knows what the research will unveil. It could explain why some childrens first signs of autism sparked right after vaccinations.
Or not. I gambled and vaccinated my children. I always have a rabies shot for my dog, law. I do not vaccinate him or previous dogs annually with the rest, about every 5 years. I looked at the dogs version of Whooping Cough and we vaccinate them every year. Humans once or twice in a lifetime. I'm like no. I do not give them oral heart worm or oral flea meds either for obvious reasons.

I have my own opinions on canine being over vaccinated and the rise in autoimmune disease. I've seen in my sons grade of 67 children back then, 6 kids come down with autoimmune diseases within 2 years. Sometimes I just wonder and count my blessings.

Seriously, who thinks a Miss Universe contestant's outfit should allude to "periods" ?

Sports Illustrated:
Miss Canada hockey tribute costume horrifies universe at Pageant!

Oh My! Maybe can form a relationship with the Bieber. Seem like a great Canadian match.

No Idea. I have never kept track of DLP news. I guess I could look it up to find out.

Announced in the last week or two. Seems the TDC waited for it to need some major help until the Paris owners needed to give up some stuff to Disney for Disney's financial help. I don't blame TDC for waiting it out until the dollar became stronger and the European currency dropped.

I saw someone posting about the rehab yesterday. I'll try and remember on what thread. 50% chance of me remembering.

I went to the DLP threads. Seems a few things will be closed when we are there from one post I read.

Coach is insanely expensive now. I have a few of their older bags, but I haven't purchased a new one in years. So, I guess it means they went out of style for me. A lot of people still carry them though.

I only have one pair of Ugg's, but they aren't the moon boot looking ones. They actually look like normal brown, knee high boots, just with a warm lining. I've had them for years, and they still look great. They are super comfortable, I'm going to keep wearing them whether they are in style or not.
