That is very true, but, there are two types of respect. One is human respect for each other and the other is a respect because of a specific skill set or knowledge. One should be automatic and the other has to be proven. Maybe they need different descriptive names, but, they are different.
I'm still wondering why we went again back tot he same argument about the insiders revealing their sources.
Demolition is an art, not a science. i am sure there is a timetable of sorts somewhere, but the structure will come down as quickly and safely as the structure will allow. if they cannot break it down with wrenches and sockets, then it will be torches: both faster and slower(faster to make seperation cuts, slower cause you cannot really torch during daytime hours where slag can fly)

As nice as those'll be, I feel like it's not going to offer as much satisfaction seeing as it's such a simple structure. I mean, demolition photos of Horizons were such a gut punch because loss of the attraction aside, it was such a dense building that seeing it torn apart had a lot more impact. For how much annoyance the Hat caused us, it's so hollow. The Severed Mickey Hand being torn apart might result in some nice carnage, but I can't help but think the actual hat part will be going down as easily as the Wand (and really, the pictures of the wand chunks in the dump was more satisfying to look at then the Wand demolition photos themselves.)
Never realized it is fiberglas, but the green inside the panels makes that pretty clear. The bottom ring is built to take a lot, but is bolted together. Pretty much billboard support-type structure. Above the ring there is a fairly lightweight structure (also bolted) plus the panels.

So in my assessment, it should come apart easily and be easy to save. Just a matter of unbolting the parts. If they take saw to it, it will be gone in a few days. If they disassemble with care, no more than a couple of weeks. Of course the foundation slabs will take a bit more work.
Just the right picture can show an awful lot.
I am in central Florida for work, and even though I have sworn off MM+ and those dumb magic bands, I may go to see this.
