Speaking of DVC, did I mention what an absolute clusterbomb the Poly rooms on sticks actually look? Totally destroying a view and a vista - one of WDWS original and best - probably forever for a privileged few is surely one of the biggest mistakes of recent times. It is a travesty. Thankfully we chose not to see inside of the resort.

Any pictures? I have no idea what they look like.

They look like sheds. From a distance they look terrible, up close they actually look worse. What they've done has just ruined the hotel as far as I'm concerned, I never liked the idea of them taking away what they have and building these villa/sheds but the execution of it is actually worse than my worst fears of how bad it could be.

I know these have been compared to a Pizza Hut, but it sort of reminds me of this, too:

A lot of it is obscured or blocked. Same for most of the beach.

These new DVC bungalows are sure to sell out quickly. I would guess that this is just of first of several phases of new bungalow construction in this area.

The roofs. Why are they shingled? It's... it's... just the wrong texture... :/

A DVC tower built on the site of a demolished Cinderella Castle would sell out quickly too, but that doesn't mean they should do it.
