Just saw on the news that Disney is set to make an announcement today about a Hollywood Studios expansion (apparently dealing with Fantasmic) as well as info. on the new castle show.

It was on Channel Six here in Orlando.

Something new to Fantasmic that will include more seats.

Also, something about the new night show at MK, which includes replacing the "Magic, Mystery (sic) and You." The TV people aren't huge WDW fans. How dare they?!

They also said that some group reported there is trouble between James Cameron & the Imagineers. Here's hoping that means no Avatarland!!

They didn't say. And they were just reporting what some other group reported. I forget the name of it. It had three letters. IGN? ING? (probably not)

I think there was a G. I know there was an N.

But it certainly sounded like this other group, whoever THEY were, was kinda/sorta implying it was shelved for now.

Who knows.

I never liked the idea and would be kinda happy if it didn't work out.

I really hope avatar land is dead. No concept art, no news for so long. It's kinda like the Hyperion ? Wharf project.

Big announcement For avatar but none of our insiders said anything before? Thought that was really off.

We know about the MMY, but an expansion at DHS, let's hope whatever it is that it's worth while. As for AvLand, I know it's out there, but to completely shelve it would be horrible without some kind of replacement in any form.
