What are some of your "Must-Do's" when you go to WDW that are outside of the parks???

For instance...

Mine are...

-Drive through Celebration
- Stop by Team Disney and Casting...(Technically in WDW)
- eat at the Sizzler and get Malibu Chicken......
- get a sub from Publix

Yours????

1. Always stop by a Disney outlet the day we get to Orlando, where we can buy cheaper souvenirs so we'll be less tempted the rest of the trip.

2. Eat at Taco Bell for lunch after that (don't ask )

3. Go to SeaWorld once per trip

I'm a passholder, so I go at least half a dozen times a year. But I almost never go without having a meal at Sweet Tomatoes on the way in or out. I live about 90 minutes from WDW, and the one at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd. is the closest one to my house.

My MIL insists on us bring back orange jelly from a store a few miles away from Disney. I don't remember the name of the store but it's the place that looks like a giant orange. We normally run in and out as fast as possible because as soon as we leave Disney property it's an entirely different world (and we prefer our pretend perfect Disney World)

There's an ice cream stand on 192 (the building is shaped like a cone) that has the BEST soft-serve ice cream. we always have to go there at least once. :slurp:

A visit to Hooters (purely for the food of course I tell my wife) :animwink:

Dunkin Donuts, always get a dozen which lasts me around 2-3 days.

Sonny's BBQ, sliced turkey is delicious.

Seito Sushi in Celebration, can't beat sitting outside in the shade at lunchtime having a bento box.

Premium outlet mall, my wife makes me take her and can't argue because of the Hooters deal.

Ok seriously I do go to Hooters for the food, I really couldn't care less if a guy with a beer gut and a hairy face served me as long as I can eat those delicious wings.

FOR REAL... I am same way..I love their wings and great fish sandwich... I am not like those guys who go there and think, they are going to score with a Hooters girl...

And if a Hooters girl would go after me, then Hooters must have lowered their standards....

i'm an early bird so when I wake up I go to Dunkin on 192 and grab a dozen and stop and get a half gallon of milk so that the fam has breakfast when they wake up. And I usually go by the Nike store before I go home.

- I always go to Cocao Beach not just to see the folks but to also enjoy the beach, the restaurants (mmm Rubios), see the Disney boats docked and shop in Cocoa Village

- Going to the Disney Character Shop at the Outlet Mall is a must do

- Touring the resorts

- I must have Florida Oranges, tons of seafood and chocolate covered key lime coconut bars

- And for some reason we always seem to have a meal at the Red Lobster in Crossroads

With a million legit cuban delis in the area why is this even an option?

.............Publix subs have crusted bottom of the bread, boars head meat, premium cheese, incredible condiments, freshness, tons of meat.....Publix subs are amazing. And since I moved to NC from FLA I miss it so much.

Thank god I am moving back there (Florida) In a couple months!!!!
