Well if it's "seasonal" I can see it being there in June....because June is nice and warm and perfect for a picnic

Seasonal might mean shuttered with no hopes of coming back and the picnic spots will be used for special festivals. :lookaroun

Well darn! I was going to try this in March! I've heard a lot of good things about it!

Disney, why must you take away everything good!?!

I would also like to think that "seasonal" would mean in warmer months. Look at WoL. It was open for several months at a time before it closed for good. So maybe there's still a chance to try it out before it's (permanently?) removed. I know I wanted to do it in mid-January.

Bummer! I really enjoyed it in Oct. We thought the food was good. The only downfall I found with it was that the ordering counter wasn't the easiest to find. I don't think it was advertised that well either. I might not have known about it had it not been for the boards.

Well, someones review (I can't remember whose or where I read it) discovered that the same exact food was available at another location right around the corner from the pickup area with no line no waiting. Only trade off was no free bag, but you also didn't have to pay for food you didn't want. (If not everyone wanted their dessert for example) So you should still be able to find the food nearby.

That was a Kevin Yee post on Miceage, and it only referred to some of the sandwich options for PitP. I don't believe the roast chicken or ham options are available a-la-carte in the park.

Correct - the Beastly Bazaar has tuna (good enough) and the turkey (phenomenal with the spicy mayo), but not chicken or ham.

Nothing to add since I have never gotten a chance to try the new offerings ... but I did want to chime in with a 'Nice to see ya here, Kev. And it would be great if you dropped in more often and offered your two cents worth'.

Besides, I don't know anyone with as many impressive medals as you outside of Olympians! :ROFLOL:

Seriously, it's fun here ... and Declining By Degrees is what it's all about!

Stay warm!

Oh, I lurk a fair amount. I especially enjoy spirited reports :)

As time permits, I may jump into threads here and there. I do enjoy a hopping conversation!

We love Yak & Yeti CS, Flametree and Pizzafari so we never tried the picnic option. It would be nice to have more to go type places for breakfast foods at AK, but that's just my opinon.:o
