Are we even sure of that?:lookaroun

From paperwork filed June 1:
"SMR Interactive Queue A/V Package" at 4950 N World Drive
(saved a copy of it to refer to later) ;)

So unless it was cancelled *after* paperwork was filed (doubtful), we're at least getting SOMETHING new in the queue... Makes me wonder if the interactive part is in the entrance queue tunnels, the exit ramps or the now-covered boarding platform queues...

I agree the Zig Zag corridor is way too dark. I bet it has alot to do...once again....with lighting not being replaced over the years. It's a...once it goes dark....just wait for a refurb... mentality.

I might be in the minority but I actually like it dark. With the music and space windows it def. sets a creepy mood. What will happen after this refurb, I don't know.

(but I can easily bet that the entrance room will see some major changes)

The entrance room will be lime green walls, lime green track lights, lime green flooring, lime green railings, and lime green CM uniforms. o_O

I do hope the entranc room gets a nice upgrade. I'm hoping for some Space Station 75 poster or sign to welcome us, but I doubt it. I've been wondering if they will replace the vinyl walls in the star and zig zag areas with the chrome walls like they have at DL, but that may be out of the budget. :/

LIME!

Sounds nice. I would just like something SLEEK looking. Get rid of that "warm" 1970's computer feeling. Almost like the entrance room to SSE and where they take your picture....but SM themed. And Lime.:lookaroun

And Fanbois don't want change...:lookaroun

Lime is an evil color.

But the most important question having to do with the entrance room is...

*Drum Roll*

Will the ball pit stay?!

I'd like to see some Space Station 75 theming be added. That was an inspired addition to Disneyland's Mountain, so I think it would be cool to see at WDW as well.

I'd prefer to see the white walls remain throughout the attraction. I don't care for the blue/silver look added at Disneyland; it seems too dark to me. Even though the original all-white color scheme might seem a little too retro, I think it fits the overall look of the attraction and ties in perfectly with the exterior of the mountain.

If enough retro stuff stays because TDO is too lazy to provide a substantial budget, I guess Disney would suck it for all its worth and have 70s "Disco Mountain" partys at night when it reopens.
