Space Mountain Refurb video from the TTA

What I think some of you are referring to as a door in the "load area" on that new "box" is actually still above the old ceiling opening. In other words, that door is one story above the load area---making that new "box" seem even higher.

So what do we think is in there?

New star projections?
Video monitors simulating space?
A space station-type ceiling?
Well, there is that, and others on the track...:lookaroun

Better idea...

get a brick and throw it in the track in hopes that they will e-stop TTA while ur inside space mountain. You will get out of your vehical and use super zoom on the camera to zoom in on the load door. Then you put on a fake musache and hope security won't kick you out of the park

That's it!

Michael Ian Black: "We'll get back our old Apartment!"

Michael Showalter: "But he'll never lease it back to US."

Michael Ian Black: "That's it! David! Do you still have that friend who sells fake mustaches?"

David Wain: "Yeah...Gary Meadows? Why? I don't see what that has to do with..."

Michael Ian Black: "Trust me...Just TRUST ME..."

*All three turn and face the camera*

Speaking of lights..are the new track LEDs still not changing? :dazzle:

It was never confirmed that they would be changing. Just those videos from it testing, but that may have just been to make sure that all lights were responding to commands.

From what I've been reading online, the lights are just single-colors in each area, and they all fade to bright white together when the ride goes 101.

I just find it hard to believe they don't have big plans for those lights or they never would have installed them in the first place. Same with some of the stuff being installed at Epcot. It seems they haven't turned on all those features either.

Maybe this new "fountain", the lights on TTA, and maybe a new package of lights on SM will all be to a new TL score.

Doubt it, but it would be cool.

Or they're just trying to get some kind of environmental/energy points for installing more efficient lighting.

The building I work in is just wrappnig up construction on an addition to our warehouse. As part of that construction, they also installed a number of energy-saving systems throughout the rest of the building, including more efficient, motion-sensitive lights in the rest of the warehouse, more efficient exterior floodlights that meet the Dark Sky criteria, motion sensors on the lights in the bathrooms, etc. I'm sure there's energy savings involved, but also there are probably rebates from the government or the power company.

Heck, we get LEED credits toward being certified a green building simply for marking two spaces in our lot "Alternative Fuel Vehicles Only" and two "Carpool Parking Only", even if we don't police their use (though they encourage use to use those spaces last). There's also a sign in one of our garage for bicycle parking that we get credits for, though anyone bicycling to work would be death-wish insane because of the crazy, winding back road you'd have to bike on to get to work...

That was MAAAAD annoying listening to her doubt you the whole time! Great video!
Yes.. My sister had so little faith in the operation to obtain Disney secrets... Victory would be mine... I also found two additional attempts to gain SM secrets. If I see any any meaningful differences in the video I will post those clips as well.

Having gone through frame by frame, focusing on all portions of track, there are no "Black Boxes along the track." In fact, all the paths along visible portions of ride track are noticeably free from enhancements.

A few times the space between the rails and the ties make an illusion like that, but there's most definitely nothing new along the track.

I didn't see anything along the tracks either, thought I was blind or something

Something I noticed

It looked like they may have done some spot-welding on the steel framework, but maybe those have always been there. But with the rest of the framework painted black (sort of), the hot spots stick out at beam and column intersections.

So, maybe they DID work on the steel system some.

Same here. It's almost wasteful.

That would be awesome. ....And annother point for this new TL Direction they are going in.
Maybe black boxes = speakers?? Dunno.
Hmm...Maybe.

I just thought that it was only meant for the MNSSHP at first...

It would be an excellent effect if (and sadly I can only say if) if your peoplemover car went around the track and was given it's own color. So that you may be moving through the yellow lights first, and your car will be followed around by green light and then you go to the red light section and the car is followed around by a blue light overhead.

If Disneyland still had their peoplemover, and if it was designed like ours, I would have no doubt TDA would have used their LED lights to the full and creative max with something like this or better.

EXACTLY on all accounts, both lighting and DL.

And, as the TTA car passes SM, SM would light up or strobe. Perfect Kinetics.
