This has been shot down how many times??? The dates in that article are recent but I doubt Lost is arriving... So, take it as something that may have been planned but not happening...

A few of the insiders on this as well as other forums have indicated that the LOST concept has been tossed around in a few meetings but nothing has made it to even a blue sky concept. To sum up....It ain't happening.

I would take it about as serious as that email that is circulating with 2 still shots of the moment the recent Air France plane broke apart. Wow. They found the cameras usb memory stick somehow. Someone actually got a photo right as someone was getting sucked out of the fuselage.

No. I dont think so. They are 2 still shots of the first few episodes of LOST when they plane breaks apart. Someone actually sent that too me thinking it was real. sheeez.

In other words, for the first .2 seconds we see these, we all might think wow, but it is hard to make an attraction IMHO when the series isnt even over and fan reaction isnt concluded yet.

This is like the third Lost thread...

All I know is that there is no way I' d want to run into Ben Linus on a ride attraction.

Not the Smoke Monster either during my Disney Magic time.

A few news agencies have been duped by them and ran stories on them. Here is a video of one such news agency running it.

I would think the thoughts of discovery island are ridiculous too, it jsut wouldnt work. If they ever develop that I could see it as a resort or recreastion area, not an attraction

There is no way on Earth that this is going to happen. First off, Universal would most likely get Lost before Disney. Second, Lost is going into it's final season next year. Disney is not going to make something based on a show that has just finished. (unless it is merchandise)

Isn't Lost on ABC and produced by Disney (some subsidiary?).

I would hope not. Lost doesn't feel like it belongs at a Disney park. It would be much better suited at Universal in my opinion.

Yeah, I get that; but I'm sure Disney could fit it in somehow. Frankly it would seem weird to me if it ever went to Universal. :)

God bless the "Ignore" button.
As I've said before: Why would Disney spend good money that could go elsewhere on an attraction based off of a TV show that isn't going to be around for that much longer anyways?

Oh, wait...

Not exactly a valid argument. LOST is in it's last season, American Idol is for all intents and purposes a game show and an incredibly profitable one at that. It will be around until the ratings tank which won't happen until they either screw up the format or there are suddenly no more teenage girls in America.
