I alway's wondered if Disney cashed in on Alien Encounter and created a movie based off of it. I came up with an idea in my head for it.
Synopsis- Staying original to the attraction, Alien Encounter would feature a slightly expanded storyline. A group of 7 executives from Earth are visiting an X-S convention center where the infamous company is planning to hold demonstrations for their new product, teleportation. After touring the facility and learning a bit about the new teleportation, the executives decide to test the product. Due to a change in plans the X-S chairman, LC Clench, decides to instead come to the planet instead of the other way around. The teleportation starts out well, and progressively gets worse. The energy required to telepory Clench causes the machine to spark and most of the wires in the rafters explode from the tension. With a final burst of energy the machine teleports the monstrous alien into the room. The teleportation tube is so full of smoke that the alien is never seen. Suddenly, the alien smashes it's way out of the tube just as the power shuts off, leaving the screen pitch black for about 2 minutes. The emergency power is switched on just as the alien leaves the room, escaping into the facility. The executives are escorted into the emergency exit tunnels which lead to the exit of the facility. Meanwhile, in another portion of the lab, an X-S technician is gorily devoured by the hungry creature. The rest of the film revolves around the executives trying to escape the facility while being pursued be the alien.
Creature visuals- Like Cloverfield, the alien is never fully seen. A full body shot usually happens in 3 seconds but quick enough so that the viewer's imagination describes the alien for them. The alien effects would be provided by an actual, 20 ft. 'puppet' and cgi effects for shots of the alien attacking victims.
Alien Encounter would be rated R for gory violence and dark moments.
Similar to Robocop and even Grindhouse in a way Alien Encounter would feature several faux commercials for X-S products throughout the film.
These would include, but not be limited to;
-An X-S wristwatch, modeled by none other than Skippy himself
-Simulated Intelligence Robotic Units, featuring three malfunctioning robots, one voiced by George Lucas himself
-An X-S spaceprobe, capable of getting images of craters, one such crater forming Mickey ears
-The all new, model 90210 guard unit robot
-Planet Restructuring
-Cloning
-etc.
