I was thinking the other day about Crockets Tavern in Fort Wilderness Campround, a resturant that has now been closed(the bar is till there with the same name). I loved this Resturant.

My Question is....What resturants do you miss? It could be that your favorite closed or changed.

Let see what old memories we can bring back...

Maybe the riverboat character breakfast... ? Went their as a young kid, would love to take my kids there just for kicks... I have some great pictures from there that my father took.

they use the boat for The Crabhouse now in DD.

DH and I had a great breakfast with Pooh and friends at Artist Point in 2000. We were saddened when they took it away.

I really loved eating at Flaglers in the GF. The food was very good and the service excellent. I am really sorry they changed. Not that Citricos is bad. I just preferred Flaglers

This may be a little bit old, but in the mid-80s, King Stefan's Banquet Hall inside Cinderella's Castle (a precursor to today's Cinderella's Royal Table) was great. Your drink was served in a pewter tankard.

Not that today's restaurant isn't also good. :)

Owww!!!!!

If I have a phobia on anything it's how all the resturants the I loved the most have gotten closed down. I actually won't admit to the one the I enjoy the most now for fear that it will hex it.
First, The Fireworks Factory. How much better can you get than fireworks and ribs. I actually converted a vegetarian back to being a meat eater there (well, kind of)!
Bonfamillies (sp) at Port Orleans city side. The blackened prime rib, to die for.
Norway, what they have done to the place is a crime.
And my almost favorite breakfast place, The Fountainview Cafe. Nothing like a Mochachino and chocolate croissants for breakfast while watching the fountain. It was an activity I loved!

While there are a few that I still enjoy, not the same as the old days.

I miss the monte cristo sandwiches from the Columbia Harbour House. I make them once a year at home but they aren't the same....probably because I have to clean up the mess, and because I'm not at the Magic Kingdom eating them.

I miss Tusker House at Animal Kingdom not being a counter service restaurant anymore.

I haven't been back since Tusker House became full-service so I can't vouch for what it's like now, but the rotisseriee chicken meal @ Tusker House was, hands down, my favorite counter-servicve meal anywhere in WDW, and I really wish it were still there. I felt ANimal Kingdom needed full-service eateries, but not at the expense of what was there.

Bon Families in POFQ, can't understand why they took a quaint little TS restaurant away from that side . Boatwright's is SO FAR AWAY for breakfast! I also miss the International Delights flavored creamers that used to be available at all the counter service restaurants.:slurp:

The Empress Lilly brings back great memories with my kids
at the character breakfast. I believe Walt would be sad to see
it gone because it was named after his wife.:slurp:

The Papeete Veranda at the Poly was an elegent restaurant with wonderful views, before Ohana came along. Also the Garden Grill at the land had a lovely breakfast before it became a character place. Also miss the Adventureland Terrace.
