Just wanted to let u all know that I am sorry I left so suddenly today. My husband called me very upset because this 17 yo boy who works for him for the last three years was found dead in a storage shed outside the resturant. I had to run there to comfort him. It was sooo awful. They are not sure if it is suicide or a drug overdose. Please put his mother in your prayers. I was ok trying to be strong for my husband until she showed up and I lost it. I almost passed out. Anyways thanks for listening even if you are not here right now.

DS' laptop was due to arrive today, according to the Apple website. Sooo I waited basically all day for it - never being too far from the front door. I even dragged things up from the basement to sort, then dragged them back downstairs because I didn't want to miss them. Well about 1/2 hour ago a neighbor came over with the package - she found it dropped off in her back yard, where apparently it's been all day. I left this out of my other post. But tonight was awsome. For starters, the team won 14-13 (matching the win total from last season:lookaroun ). The band did wonderful, and the crowd seemed to love them. And finally, I met all of my gym teachers/coaches. I saw 2 teachers with their kids (one has 2 daughters, 4 and 2. And the other has a 4 year old son). I even found out that my history teacher (who is a coach) has a 7 week old daughter, who is soooo cute. So all in all a good evening. And tomorrow the Mets play! Hopefully they win too. Good night everyone.

As a mom of a 17-year-old, I can't imagine what she's going through. Prayers and hugs for all!

I was between freshman and sophomore years when my sister got married - that was the first official family function DH and I attended as a couple. Ended up following in her footsteps two years later. :) I hope things go well today Luke.
