Whoo hoo! New thread! And boo...I wasn't around to snot! :(

I love the fact that I stole my dad's computer (shh) and am able to sit here at Bread Co enjoying my surroundings while I wait for a phone call telling me the sattellite dish guy is on his way to my house.

Go for a long weekend. Get a ride and slide pass which gives you CP tickets and tickets to Soak City. (FUN!) I'd stay at the hotel Breakers if I were you - it's gorgeous and right on site. You can walk from your hotel to CP in the morning. Or Lighthouse Cabins... but those are a little more like camping and less like a girls getaway weekend. ;)

Go to www.cedarpoint.com then click on hotels then online reservations - you can save by getting a package deal. :)

(Danny can give you a ton more advice - but this is just my personal take on it...)
AWESOME! Thanks!

well what's the fun without money?!

I'm going with the 18th...that is a good day to get engaged...if I do say so myself...:lookaroun

And *blows raspberry*

That's ok...you don't have to wait for the sattellite dish guy to show up. I really should leave here soon...wonder if I can get free internet somehow at my house. Doubt it...but since I've "borrowed" the laptop...can't hurt to try...:lookaroun

:fork: That is awful sweetie! What about your homeowner's insurance? If there's a possibility of it cracking the foundation - which can happen if water sits under your house, perhaps they'd step in and help fix a problem before it get's any worse... idk I am so sorry girl. This is just a stink thing to deal with. :(

I don't think it's covered, but I'll check into it, just to be sure...

Sorry I'm in and out these days... I'm trying to get SO much done around here that it's hard to stay caught up!

If four girls were all going for their first time, how long should they plan to be there? Any place in particular we should stay?

Nah, you pretty much got it right.

It's hard, but be sure to pace yourselves. You can see a lot in that long weekend, provided you know where to go.

If you stay at Hotel Breakers, you go in the resort (near Magnum) entrance, meaning you avoid the main crowd at the front ad enjoy the back of the park with minimal waits for the first hours or so. And, if not... you can still drive back there and park.

Staying at a CP resort allows you to enter the park at 9:00 instead of 10:00 to ride things like Top Thrill Dragster, Milennium Force, Maverick... all the great ones. Trust me, it's great.

The first step to all this is that I wholly recommend a Getaway Guide. Order it off of the official site ( http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/visit/brochures.cfm ) and it'll save you a ton of money. Just glacing at it, you can save $8/person for a one-day ticket. However, if you go with the Ride and Slide option (two parks, two days), you can probably find a better or same discount on those at your local AAA.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions

True. You do need to enjoy a cheese on a stick next time. :lookaroun

But... there's no coupon... and they now have loaded fries at some locations... and now Chick-Fil-A and Panda Express and (for Dot) Ben & Jerry's! :lookaroun

Danny's the one stop all knowing CP guy. I go to him with all my CP Q's. ;)

You can get Chick-Fil-A or Panda Express anywhere. You cannot however find cheese on a stick just anywhere. :lookaroun :p

Weather Dude!!!!!!
Something Wicked This Way Comes!!!!

You're tellin' me. It's the same system that bombarded the track facility yesterday.

For some reason it seems to be moving directly northeast, with a line barely missing you. (Though, without being pessimistic, it'll probably hit you soon enough.)

Thanks! I'll probably ask morequestions as we get closer to our (possible) trip.

Any time

Hiya Dot! How are you?!

And Weather Dude is here too!!! Wow!!! :D

It's a Christmas miracle! :lookaroun
