You didn't explain those.
A Hard Cola?
Are you supplying minors?

No. It's a cherry cola. I think... right Luke? Idk... i don't care for it. It reminds me of dirt. :lookaroun Buuuut some people like it. No there's not a drop of alocohol in it. Yes you can buy it right off the shelf at walmart - at any age. It's just another funky soda. :)

I was 28 when I got my license..

Say what?

  • Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for teenagers.
  • 16 year-olds have higher crash rates than drivers of any other age.
  • 16-year-olds are three times more likely to die in a motor vehicle crash than the average of all drivers.
  • 3,467 drivers age 15-20 died in car crashes in 2005.
  • Drivers age 15-20 accounted for 12.6 percent of all the drivers involved in fatal crashes and 16 percent of all the drivers involved in police-reported crashes in 2005.
  • Fatal crashes involving 15- to 20-year olds in 2005 were down 6.5 percent from 7,979 in 1995, to the lowest level in ten years.
  • The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates the economic impact of auto accidents involving 15-20 year old drivers is over $40 billion.
  • According to a 2005 survey of 1,000 people ages 15 and 17, conducted by the Allstate Foundation
    • More than half (56 percent) of young drivers use cell phones while driving,
    • 69 percent said that they speed to keep up with traffic
    • 64 percent said they speed to go through a yellow light.
    • 47 percent said that passengers sometimes distract them.
    • Nearly half said they believed that most crashes involving teens result from drunk driving.
  • 23 percent of teen drivers killed in 2005 were intoxicated, according
    to NHTSA.
  • Statistics show that 16 and 17-year-old driver death rates increase with each additional passenger (IIHS).
  • Graduated drivers license programs appear to be making a difference. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety reports that the overall number of 16-year-old drivers fell from 1,084 in 1993 to 938 in 2003 despite an 18% increase in the 16-year-old population.

You can spout out statistics to me left and right, and yes, I believe them, but I'm speaking from personal experience.I've yet to come anywhere near getting in an accident *knock on wood*. It all boils down to if you drive smart or stupid. In which case, you're gonna need more than a 15 minute driving test.

I agree. In fact... reading over that little list of q's they asked the teens... I see just as many adults on a cell, fighting with their kids in the back seats... and being completely distracted by another adult.

I agree about the dinky driving test. I also agree that it comes down to driving smart vs. stupid, but I also think it comes down to experience. I think they should require new, teenage drivers to log a certain amount of practice driving hours during their permit period before they're given a license. Especially since alot of places are doing away w/ requiring Driver's Ed.
