Looks like Captain America 4 may not even reach $200M domestic or $400M worldwide, which was The Eternals total gross, unadjusted for inflation.
Eternals (so far) did better internationally, but Cap4 already beat it domestically.

Its only $10M away from $400M WW and beating Eternals. It'll continue to be in theaters for a few more weeks, so it has a shot to make that up as its still pulling in multiple Millions on weekends. So with a combination of domestic and international I think it could be there by next weekend.

Here's how that matchup from 2021 looks, adjusted for inflation. It helps that Captain America 4 had a "modest" budget of "only" $180 Million. But breakeven for it doesn't look possible at this point.

Nowhere did I even mention breakeven, I was just responding to the poster who said Cap4 doesn't look to reach $400M and beat Eternals unadjusted. And based on where things are right now, and what its still getting every weekend both domestic and international, its very possible it breaks $400M and Eternals unadjusted.

As for breakeven, I would agree its not likely to do that based on where things sit right now.

Snow White is becoming the splash mountain of the movies and tv forum:
I agree with that on multiple levels lol. I can honestly say I prefer the cgi dwarfs to the Splash creepy critters.

Not sure how soon I’ll be able to compare the movies but from what I read the new one sounds lively.

Ok…. So your cherry picking….

Yes, freshly picked cherries 🍒 from such notorious right-wing sources as NBC News and the Associated Press.

a few people is still not an entire party… not that I even trust what Bondi says

You don't have to listen to Pam Bondi, if you feel she's fabricated these firebombings of Tesla dealerships and facilities. Instead, just listen to Rep. Jasmine Crockett, she's all over this thing.

So…. There are plans for protests outside of Tesla dealers….The constitution says we are allowed to assemble and protest….

Yes, they most certainly are allowed to protest an American car company producing electric cars. If that's what they're against and want to protest; working Americans making and selling American-made EV's.

I'm just as confused as you probably are, but here we are in 2025! 🤣

Does not mean people are going to be destructive to the showrooms…. But this is way outside of the rules here… so I am done

Oh, I see. The showrooms have already been firebombed and vandalized, so that's already happened. Instead, here's a cherry picked 🍒 headline about the newly downgraded opening weekend box office forecast for Rachel Zegler's Snow White.

Now down from $55 Million a week ago, to $50 Million today, per that other notorious right-wing source Variety.

Tesla Wars *and* the Snow White Conflict of 2025, you’re in rare form today.

Considering fandoms lose their sanity when someone has the "wrong" hair color for a role from a book, I would agree with this, although it certainly can give the appearance that someone is racist in cases like this.
I get it, and agree. But that's why you can't just lump the world as racist.
If they're out there putting Snow Brown into every comment thread they can find? They've taken any doubt away.
Exactly. As I've said it's easy to spot.
You were the third poster to respond in the Snow White thread after Zegler was cast and your post is critical of her choice based on her race.
When a PatF live action film gets announced. If they cast a white actress I'll be first poster to criticize it.
To reiterate - I am not accusing you of being a racist. I am pointing out that the initial reaction to her casting was almost entirely centered on race. That was the spark that ignited everything that followed.
I've said that it was the start and everything stems from that. Is anyone denying that? She doesn't look like the character, there are a great many people who think that. All I'm saying is it comes off as very accusing when you talk about it. That's my issue.

A funny thing I've noticed while watching reviews, is zegler isn't taking the brunt of the criticism. It's Gadot. From what I've seen so far, her acting, singing have been hammered. Her whole performance as a whole has been labeled as terrible in most of the reviews I've seen. Zegler hasn't been the focus of the criticism.

I think we’re well beyond 10 and left wondering how badly it’s going to undershoot. At the projected opening numbers and production budget, it’s not going to come out well.

It’s Thursday was slightly better than Dumbo.

It can still do well in some miracle situation.
