I think you mean BETTER than Captain America 4, because it’ll be a much better and good movie with more interesting characters, and because it will mark the beginning of MCU movies with consistent quality control again.

Meant specifically Thunderballs (too late to change the title?). Is there anything there to draw in a casual crowd? If not it’s going to be a repeat of this movie.

My wife and I are not huge comic book fans… we have seen a lot of the movie just because we are film people and of the 3 marvel movies in 3025 we are most excited for The Thunderbolts…. I think the movie may surprise… Cap had a lot of negativity… I have heard mostly positive chatter around Thunderbolts

Also I don’t feel like most of the movies felt like homework…. Disney + series is there if you want to expand on the characters, but is not necessary to grasp the plot

Yep, this is an impression that people put on themselves but wasn't a requirement set by the studio. Heck Feige himself said they weren't going to be a required watch if you just wanted to stick to the movies.

Loki though is self-contained, especially now that Kang isn't a storyline (at least the Majors version of the character) within the Multiverse.

As for Wandavision, I think you could skip it and still pickup most if not all the plot of Strange MoM. They tell enough of the reasons why Wanda is doing what she is doing in the movie that you're not missing much from the show.

Nobody cares…the audience decides what it wants to watch…so if the perception is they’ve made it too complicated…they’re gonna suffer because of it
