Maybe they need the Muppet animatronics for the coaster conversion.
I could see them using Stalter & Waldorf and the Chef, but zero chance Bean Bunny would be used.Maybe they need the Muppet animatronics for the coaster conversion.
If they wouldn’t cause a bottleneck, the Statler and Waldorf animatronics in the backstage exit area could work well.I could see them using Stalter & Waldorf and the Chef, but zero chance Bean Bunny would be used.
This would be true for many structures in the MK if they were built in 1970/1971. Restrictions on asbestos products don't begin until the end of the 1970s.Yikes, I hope not. I’m not going in anymore if there’s asbestos.
Sci-Fi is outside this area, across the walkway. The rest of Grand Avenue outside the Muppet area (Sci-Fi and such) can simply remain as is and not be touched.
Is Bean Bunny like, fully retired?I could see them using Stalter & Waldorf and the Chef, but zero chance Bean Bunny would be used.

What handcuffs? The Universal deal only restricts the use of the Marvel name and branding at Disney’s California Adventure. It imposes no other limitations in California or Paris.
I doubt that there's much space in the theater for anything but another screen show with maybe some animatronics in the room. There's no large stage, now backstage areas, dressing rooms, etc., etc., to accommodate anything more.Is it possible the Monsters theater show is another 3D movie/experience, like MV3D? Not sure if that’ been discussed in the thread yet…didn’t see it trying to catch up![]()
Not officially, but the director of Muppets Haunted Mansion confirmed on Twitter that the puppet no longer exists, so he would have to be rebuilt from scratch for future projects. Is Bean Bunny like, fully retired?
I wonder if they’d reskin some of them for this. Don’t see much of a need for any of those characters, but I figure it wouldn’t be too hard to turn the penguins into the Mayhem.I could see them using Stalter & Waldorf and the Chef, but zero chance Bean Bunny would be used.
I thought he was retired and the puppet (or version of... they have multiples) is on permanent display in Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts. Not officially, but the director of Muppets Haunted Mansion confirmed on Twitter that the puppet no longer exists, so he would have to be rebuilt from scratch for future projects.
He was considered for a cameo in Haunted Mansion, but since they don’t have an active puppet he would have to be rebuilt. Which would have been too expensive for that project. On top of that, Bean doesn’t have a performer currently due to Whitmire’s “departure.”I thought he was retired and the puppet (or version of... they have multiples) is on permanent display in Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts.

Above: The marquee says "Late Night Screams". I can't make out the banner to the right, but it ends with the word "You".
I don't work for WDI. I'm just saying that DL's design is more fitted for an action retheme than the other towers. And it would fit that park considering it's now mostly lands themed to movies.Just leave our Tower alone, thank you very much!
They can likely start work on Door Coaster and a lot of the rest of Monster Land while also keeping Muppets open. Eventually Muppets will likely close first and then they would do RNRC unless they don’t plan to reuse anything from MV3D.So any chance they don’t Re-theme RnRC to muppets until after the new Monsters land is built?
Having coaster and muppets down for extended periods at the same time is a capacity hit that the park really can’t handle.
I assume they will use some of the props from the MV3D lobby area probably in the queue for RNRC. They could in theory add the old guy AAs to the wall in the load area or right before the launch. Hard to use them during the ride since it just moves too fast. Maybe at the exit but they don’t want people standing around at exit.Maybe they need the Muppet animatronics for the coaster conversion.
This could work. Maybe replace the screen showing Aerosmith on a loop right where the ride photos are.If they wouldn’t cause a bottleneck, the Statler and Waldorf animatronics in the backstage exit area could work well.
And DHS is…And it would fit that park considering it's now mostly lands themed to movies.
I honestly hope that whenever they get back to doing big productions, they consider hiring Whitmire back solely for Rizzo and other roles of his they retired. He's still close friends with the rest of the Muppet cast, he's expressed that he'd come back if they offered, even Brian Henson has spoken positively about him in recent years (which really makes me believe Disney paid off the Henson kids to help make their decision seem morally justified). The Kermit ship has sailed, and it'd be cruel to take the role back, but there is no Rizzo without Steve. And honestly, the Muppets without Rizzo feels weird- Muppets Haunted Mansion made his absence super noticeable. It's likely never going to happen, but I can dream haha.He was considered for a cameo in Haunted Mansion, but since they don’t have an active puppet he would have to be rebuilt. Which would have been too expensive for that project. On top of that, Bean doesn’t have a performer currently due to Whitmire’s “departure.”
